    The website organizes the videos into clear and structured chapters that you can use to watch the videos in sequential and logical order as taught by most educational institutions. Each lecture contains a description along with a customized comment section that you can use to ask questions regarding the topic. Posting questions on the site allows us to answer them much quicker than on TH-cam. This site was created for the purpose of providing students access to a quality education in the sciences and we are continually working on improving the website's functionality and features.

      @@juliarampelsberger7889 Well, if the one thing is that he is a neo nazi or pukes while filming, he can have as many positive factors as one can imagine, and it still doesn't make the videos worth watching. I'm not saying that this is the case, just that your argument does not make sense.

    what an amazing and informative approach. I really appreciate what you are doing.
    If there is anything I will add, it will be the process that will govern tRNA to bind specifically to the P site in the first place, so the initiation will take place. This will be clear when fMet-tRNAf initiator and Met-tRNAm elongator are examined.
    formylated Met-tRNAf is important for the initiation because (1) this increases the efficiency of tRNA because it will be recognized by IF-2 (initiation factor 2), (2) the special tRNA has unpaired bases at 5' end with the base at 3', which will prevent this tRNA to participate in the elongation phase, and (3) the last thing that is the most important is the 3 G-C series right above the anticodon region ( this will ensure that our special tRNA to enter the P site first).
    Another process also is there to ensure the entrance of other tRNA in A site as well I'm not going to mention.
    Overall solid effort Sr.
    Thank you again for such a great lecture.

    Binding of tRNA to methionine happens in two steps.
    Amino acid (methanionine) + ATP -> aminoacyl adenylate + PPi
    Aminoacyl adenylate + tRNA -> Aminoacyl-tRNA + AMP
