I was NOT thrilled when we made this trade. I thought we should have gotten more, BUT the more I see of Joey Ortiz, the more I am really really impressed with him. He reminds me of a young Robin Yount. Sort of. Now I'm not saying he is Yount, just similar hitting styles to begin their careers. Fair power, good spray hitter, and a good glove. And as another commenter said if DL Hall can come back and be a good middle starter, then we did fine. Besides as much as it did hurt losing Corbin Burnes, he was getting a really bad Diva attitude, and his new contract will be insanely high. Better to get something now, and they did. But it still hurts to lose one of the best Starting Pitchers in the league. The sting as you said however is getting to be much easier to accept.
Monasterio getting on base 4 times through 3 walks and a single, hows that for some utility? Great game, horrible umpire calls though. Going for the sweep 👍
Okay being a Brewers fan or not, the Braves Head Coach had ever reason to be p*$$ed off. I didn't get to see the whole game, but that strike zone was????? I've seen low strikes called before but wow, that was BAD!
I am a dfs player and watch a lot of games. It is not just a couple umpires with bad strike zones. It's all of them. The call in the ninth against soler was especially terrible should have been a 3 1 count. Williams with a k on the next pitch. Gotta be better than that especially late in games. Brewers fan btw
Love beating the Braves
Game 1 and 2 in the books now let go for the sweep in the series
Monasterio my on base KING
I hope that these guys realize that they have the abilities to go all the way!
How about that Ortiz? Getting rid of Corbin Burns doesnt sting as much anymore. The kid has a bright future.
Hopefully Hall can be a solid pitcher and it’s a solid trade, especially knowing Burns was leaving anyway

@@bjnowakHall will never compensate for losing Burns who's currently 12-3, 2.69

Brew crew, we luv you!!!!
Love that we won, but damn that umpire sucked 😂
Are these wayward officials prone to the corruption that's rife in professional sports or did he simply have a bad night?😅
@hooger1270 they usually do when you lose
@@artsteadman2230yea but he means he sucked for both teams cuz he did 💀💀💀
People don't realize what a wonderful man Hank Aaron was
They should call this series the Hank Aaron Classic.
Imagine giving up a run to Sanchez running from first to home 😂😂😂
As he was dieing from ALS From Woods Veterans Hospital I used to roll him out on the porch overlooking County Stadium.
People act like the blown calls at home plate cost Atlanta, but it was their terrible fielding that dud them in
Feels so good to be on opposite side of bad umps

Our local Priest used to play handball with Henry
We own the Braves
How about Blake Perkins
Yay!
Jackson is starting to cook
We are so back
I'm still worried about our starting pitching. No ace. In the playoffs, you need that anchor.

Won it in 57 only to leave! My Dad lamented being unable to watch Henry Aaron.
No HR's. Love small ball.
This is a brewers page right? Why they showing braves pregame?
Dang good question.
Braves didn’t pitch strikes all night, what do you expect?
A dream first innings 😅but no cigars tonight 😢
@glensmillie you gotta em just can't light em up

Man that's was a horrible strike zone.

Not a braves fan but the umpires strike zone was .. umm.. wow.
