Very nice vid. Definitely will go to Drug City when visiting Old Line next week. Lots of great Irish there as well. The Redbreast 21 is a banger and the cask strength Clonakilty are very good. Don’t skip over that KO high rye bourbon. It is a terrific pour and a great price as well. Rare Breed is great but prefer old logo. The Clyde May’s Special Reserve 110 proof red label at Speedy’s is a very good bottle.
The Makers (Qui Qui) is contest-related, I think. Once you taste it, you can guest the stave profiles and the person closest wins something. I can ask the owner (George) if you want.
@@BourbonRetriever thats the same understanding I have from an explaination from another store. They said it was a decent pour even without playing the game.
Forget the Ardbeg. That's everywhere. Springbank 10 next to the Ardbeg for $90 and the Kilkerran Heavily Peated are very very rare and those were MSRP prices. If you want Scotch jump all over those.
@@BourbonRetriever Drug City seems incredible. I've never seen a place with so many cool picks, random bottles and that bar! You are so perfect in your description. I'm from CT but a big Ravens fan. Next time I'm in Baltimore I have to check out Drug City. Thanks for the great video
Springbank 10 and Kilkerrans were what I would have bought for Scotch. Good to see a KC pick at 11yo. Used to get 13-15yo KC picks for $39.99, but maybe they’re starting to have a little older stocks. The Peerless Double Oaks are outstanding. The regular releases are good, but the double oaks are special. Got the Jack Daniels 10 for $75, and passing at $200 was the correct call. Going to have to go to Drug City!
Thanks for the recommendations on the scotch. Building up a list to try at bars to see which I should buy. I was so excited to see the KC pick. I really hope its a sign of more to come to other stores. I haven't tried the Peerless Double Oak, but will keep an eye out as I've heard good things from others too.
@@charlescalvert8647 I can believe it, Laurel also seems to have increased their prices quite a bit recently also - I guess they all have. I picked up the new Jack Daniels Bonded rye at another store (Lax liqours) for 30$ - 9 less than Total wine !
Bardstown foursquare for $149 is a steal. Its gone up even at big places like total wine. Don't really see below $175. Expensive, but a great pour for special occasions.
Nelson's Greenbrier, Nelson bros, Belle Meade, Knob Creek, Old Forester 1920, Lagavulin 16, Springbank, my goodness. Guessing I'm hitting those stores asap! Im in Northern Baltimore county. Not much of a selection around here.
nice camera work and showing us what's up in your neck of the woods. But dang that soundtrack is annoying! maybe pull it down a bit cuz if I have to watch another vid with it, I'm gone!
Two of my favorite guys! Great video! I subscribed☺️🥃
Thanks for the support! I’ll need to get my pup Watson involved more to make it three. Enjoy the barrel pick today!!
Good stuff ! Thanks for the tour. Im definitely gonna stop in there next week.
Nice! Drug city just put out some new allocated bottles. 135 Ann. 4roses, Parker’s Rye, OF10, etc.
Very nice. Thank you for sharing.
Peerless and the Old Carter
Glad you enjoyed it
The black art that was in the glass case is very good. Also very rare to find
Good to know! Might have to snag it
@@BourbonRetriever it won’t be cheap but if you like anything from Bruichladich you’ll love it
That Makers looks very interesting with the full line of ? on the staves. would have got that just to see what it was like!
Kicking myself for not getting it. I normally like to sample store picks before I get them, but curiosity is killing me.
Great price on that Noah's Mill.
Never had it. Need to add it to my list to try
@@BourbonRetriever it's polarizing. I think it is very good. 'Earthy' and unique is best way to describe it. Very tasty and 114+ proof from Willett.
STATESMAN. Better than 1920. Really good!!!
Thanks, I’ve never tired. Will have to add to the list!

The KO high rye sib casks are some of my favorite! Sad when they eventually run out of the MGP juice. Cheers
Old Carter and Weller 107 are the ones I would have tried. They are talked about a lot. I've never tried those. Nice content. I enjoyed your video!
Awesome, thanks for the support!

$69 each for all three redwood empire cask strengths would have been hard not to leave the store with 😆 never seen them on store shelves here in CT
Very difficult indeed. Great inventory with great pricing
Come up to Ma. They’re all over the place right now.
Yeah, you normally see those for 80+
I can’t believe you didn’t grab that Knob Creek 12 year! I get it every time I see it. 🥃
I already have one at home, and wanted to leave it for the next guy who might not have one. But I may need to get a second as they are allocated in VA
@@BourbonRetriever they’re a rare sight in Tennessee. One of my favorite everyday sippers. Great video! Will definitely tune in more often 🥃
Great store (Drug City)! I'd need to win the Lotto b4 going there lol or my credit card would never recover!
Soooooooo many choices
I just got the Knob Creek from Whelan's store pick in DC. It's well worth it. They will let you sample in-store. Double Oaked is delicious.
Never been to Whelan’s. I’ll need to stop by. Thanks for the info!
Let's go, O's!
Personally a Braves fan, but the O’s are having a great year!

Agreed. Grab any Springbank or Kilkerran when available. Getting hard to get
@@gordledrew2256 Thanks!
Funny I was at Drug City today and got the flight of 4 Willett’s for $50. And a store pick great place

I did a review on the new label vs old label about 3 weeks ago. You’re the video I’ve seen another new one, I like the new label
Nice, I'll have to check it out
Was that the magnus cigar blend?
I don’t think so. But I did see the normal Magnus and Murray Hill
I haven’t had many, but every Old Carter I have had has been great.
I haven’t yet, but I’d love to try some of a age stated bottles from Old Carter
You ever hit Total Wine in Laurel ? Close to me and usually worth a walk through.. I'm gonna check out Drug city soon, looks like a good store !
Yep! Sneak peak, Total wine (but Towson) may or may not be in part 2
Prices at total wine Towson are outrageous! Highest in the state!
