Musical programmes by renowned artistes at ongoing Hunar Haat exhibition. Hyderabad is all set to host a series of musical and cultural programmes as part of the ongoing Hunar Haat exhibition at NTR grounds in the city. Many artists including Pankaj Udhas, Suresh Wadkar, Amit Kumar, Sudesh Bhosale, and others will be offering entertaining evenings.
The 10-day festival commenced on February 25 and will conclude on March 6 at NTR gardens. Organised by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, more than 700 artisans are participating and more than 300 stalls have been installed in different parts of the country.
Different types of cuisines from across the country are available to taste. Through “Mera Gau Mera Desh” everyone can experience the country’s traditional food.

"हुनर हाट"- "हुनर को हौसला"
हमारा देश दस्तकारों, शिल्पकारों की "स्वदेशी विरासत" से भरपूर है, कश्मीर से लेकर कन्याकुमारी तक कारीगरी के उस्तादों की अलग पहचान-पकड़ है। पर्याप्त मौका-मार्किट न मिलने की वजह से दस्तकारी की विरासत की नई पीढ़ी इससे दूर जा रही थी। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी की सरकार इस हिंदुस्तानी विरासत को व्यापक बाजार मुहैया कराने के लिए देश के हर कोने में "हुनर हाट" का आयोजन कर रही है जिसके जरिये बड़े पैमाने पर "हुनर के उस्तादों" के स्वदेशी उत्पादनों को व्यापक मौका-मार्किट मिलना शुरू हुआ है, यह "हुनर हाट" भारतीय दस्तकारों-शिल्पकारों का "एम्पावरमेंट एक्सचेंज" साबित हो रहे हैं। लगभग पिछले 7 वर्षों में "हुनर हाट" के जरिये लगभग 7 लाख 50 हजार से ज्यादा दस्तकारों, शिल्पकारों और उनसे जुड़े लोगों को रोजगार और रोजगार के अवसर मुहैया कराये गए हैं।
यही नहीं, "हुनर हाट" के बावर्चीखाने सेक्शन में देश के अलग-अलग भागों के पारम्परिक पकवानों को भी लोगों से रूबरू कराया जाता है, साथ ही देश के हर कोने के पारम्परिक गीत, संगीत भी "हुनर हाट" में आये लोगों को भारतीय संगीत-कला की संस्कृति का आनंद देते हैं, "हुनर हाट", "एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत" के संकल्प और "अनेकता में एकता" के लक्ष्य से भरपूर हैं।
Our country is full of indigenous legacy of master artisans and craftsmen. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, these master artisans and craftsmen have their own identity and speciality. But due to lack of opportunities and market, the younger generations of these artisans had been moving away from their legacy. The Government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has been organising “Hunar Haat” in every corner of the country to preserve crafts and to promote and provide vast market opportunities to our indigenous legacy of artisans and craftsmen.
These “Hunar Haat” has been proved to be an “Empowerment Exchange” for master artisans and craftsmen of the country. More than 7 Lakh 50 Thousand master artisans and craftsmen and other people associated with them have been provided employment and employment opportunities through “Hunar Haat” in last about 7 years.
Besides showcasing rare handmade Handicraft and Handloom items, “Bawarchikhana” at “Hunar Haat” presents traditional delicacies from across the country to visitors coming at “Hunar Haat”. The people coming at “Hunar Haat” also enjoy traditional cultural programmes and music from every corner of the country. “Hunar Haat” is based on the commitment to “Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat” and “Unity in Diversity”. Hunar Haat is now organized on "Vocal For Local" and "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" theme.
