That sounds possibly pretty good. I've had lasagna made with cottage cheese instead of ricotta. It was not bad. I prefer ricotta, but would eat the cottage cheese one again.

Dollar store tends to convivence price items. Things like small snack bag or beef rav can actually be more expensive there over regular stores. Some food for thought if you plan to pick food on a budget. Dollar might be in the name, but doesn't always mean its a deal.

Many places in the US have a government required bag fee to encourage reusable bags. Aldi store chain charges for them even though it's not yet required where I live. It makes me save my bags and bring them back
In Ontario (at least), you have to pay for the bag now, anywhere you go. It's usually. 10c per bag, but lots of places now have the paper bag option too and encourage ppl to get reusable bags. It's all in efforts to reduce plastic waste.
In Quebec we don’t even sell plastic or paper bags… stores only have reusable bags that can cost between 35 cents and a few bucks. It gets expensive to forget your own reusable bags in the car, yes.
