I preferred my Earl Grey and English Breakfast. Brew for 5 minutes at 212 Fahrenheit/ 100 Celsius. With the fresh water to the kettle. With and without milk. Sweet and not sweet. Personally, it seems to get more flavor out of tea in my opinion.

I find strings annoying. If you have a teaspoon anyway, then what's the point? It just gets in the way. I think if you add milk you are going to let it brew in the kitchen so you can add the milk after it brewed, and therefore you will have a teaspoon at hand; if you like it without milk, then you will just add the water and take the mug away and it will brew wherever you are, so you wont have a teaspoon and you might need the string to take it out.

Remember folks. Add hot water with the tea bag already in the cup. DO NOT put the milk in with the tea bag before adding the hot water. If you do there is a chemical reaction and the tea won’t “brew” and will always be a milky insipid watery yuk! Add milk afterwards for the strength you’d like your tea to be. Milk in the cup first is from Yonder years when the fine porcelain cups would crack with the of the hot water.

Oh how I still lament Yorkshire Tea.
The way they told real Yorkshire men like me
not to buy their tea, unless we were willing to "take the knee".
what a shame it is, the virtue signalling of Yorkshire Tea.
    Listen up Taylors of Harogate,
It's your mind that's narrow mate,
But as you insist, I'll be giving you tea a miss
Because I will never take the knee
To drink any kind of tea
