Cathy you are so kind, thank you. ☺I am a big fan of Louise Hay and I have been listening to affirmations for 10+ years. I used to suffer with bad insomnia and was spending hours to find the right meditation/affirmations tapes each night. As for the process, I usually go through creation phases and write around 5 scripts that are on the same topic within a week. So one week I may be emerged in self-love. The next week it may be detachment and so on..Depending on the topic, I may hear a line in a song, a good quote in a book , podcast etc..If it is more of a serious topic ,for example "inner child healing", "self worth" etc I add in things I have read in psychology or self-help books. I am usually reading 2-3 "self-help/spiritual/psychology" books/week and a lot of inspiration and know-how comes from that..My first affirmations used to be way more "instructional" and long - now I try to hold myself back and make shorter, more lighthearted sentences, usually writing something and then cutting the first draft by 50% the next day 😆
