Chris has written some beautiful, soul - stirring songs. And, he's absolutely right about not feeling like he has to release an album every year, or even every other year. Music is an art, and, as with any other form of art, the quality of the work that an artist produces is, in my opinion, much more important than the quantity. Better a great piece of work, done in the artist's own good time, than something that's merely "o.k." because the artist felt rushed by public pressure to produce something. As a writer - as yet unpublished in the "big - time" literary world, but hopeful - I know that anything worth doing is worth taking the time to do well. For me, it's definately a matter of "quality over quantity", as it should be for any serious artist, so I know where Chris is coming from.
Yes thank God for TH-cam ! If it wasn't for YT I'd never get to hear the most precious music that's dear to my heart from Selena and Chris bc some of these other music places refuse to play what ' I ' want to hear so TY TH-cam for being there everytime I needed you to be there .
This is great man after these few interviews with Chris we get to see the real him & where he came from , the backstories , growing up in SA it’s great , respect this man a lot because In a way he reminds me of how I used to be when I was younger. Look at me now I old 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😅 & I always thought about that too I know he’s happy to share his story with him & Selena to anyone that would listen but I want to know his side of town too the Chris Perez tale 🤟🏽🤟🏽
Great interview times have changed social media is the outlet for people to show their talents and ain't it something how the radio is not as influential as social media is now🤘🤘🤘
I agree. The only thing I don't like about social media? How easy it is to be spread negativity and hatred across the internet. But, oh well, I guess it comes with the program, lol!
Watched the whole interview twice! Glad I did. Like listening to a song or watching a movie again, but really paying attention the second time. You can get so much more out of it. It's easy to like both of these guys. Good stuff!

I must say though, its like we're, and I speak for all of us, are getting to know the real Chris Perez after all these years, I didn't know his g grandfather was a piano player either, that's cool. Thanks for sharing an Awesome interview. I do hope though that you compile it all into just one vid soon. That's the way I really prefer it but I'm sure you know that by now. 😂
