1 John 5:7 does not teach the trinity, not to mention that is absolutely a spurious text. Jesus HAS a God (Rev. 3:12, John 20:17, Eph. 1:3, 17, 2 Cor. 11:31, etc.) whom he calls "the only true God" in John 17:3. You demonstrate that you follow lying teachers instead of reading and understanding the Scriptures for yourself. If the trinity was legit, it would be explicitly taught in Scripture by Jesus and his disciples and the rest of Scripture, but it NEVER is. So people like Robert lie and take verses out of context to prove a false teaching, and people like you eat it up because you care about fitting in with the popular group instead of fitting in with Jesus Christ.
I'm a retired corrections officer. I met a few inmates that truly changed and were saved while in prison. And I've met many many more that would go to every chapel service and activity yet you could tell that they had not changed at all. But that kind of behavior is the same in the freeworld too.

I also teach sometimes I work with men in recovery and I just wish we could just stop badmouth other people just teach the truth, just teach the truth and stop worrying about what everybody else is doing because it makes us look bad when we are constantly blasting other people when possibly it could be another brother and sister doesn’t have something right at the moment

Someone has been telling me that "Asking Jesus into your heart" is what saves. Refuses to show any scripture that makes that claim. Except John 3: 3-8 which makes no claim. NOW they're telling me the trinity is not Biblical and this video pops up! Wow!!!! What a coincidence. Praise Jesus Christ.

I was involved with Jehovah Witnesses and they won't baptize you till you give up smoking and become what they fill is perfect. If you give up smoking it has to be for a long period of time. Robert, in Matthew, Jesus tells us (not just Jews) that men do not light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a lamp stand and it gives light to all that are in the house. Even so, let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. That's an eternal truth from the mouth of Jesus. He knew we would be reading this. (I agree with the majority of what you preach and teach, but we have to be careful not to deprive Christians of valuable instructions from the Lord...."let your light shine")

Pastor Breaker, May i just share my understanding also of Matthew 5:29,30 that if any part of our body would cause us to sin or lust... the word pluck your eye or cut your hand meant to repent than go to hell...
About Matthew 5:30; I think this is a verse that can be taken both figuratively and literally. You went over the literal meaning. But I believe it also alludes to activities that may cause tou to sin. Ex: If you can't watch a favorite sports team without cussing or screaming when something bad happens, you might be better off not indulging.

However, at 55:00 minutes in, i slightly disagree, but i could be wrong, but i think that the baptism of fire could be the refining fire that will burn off the chaff and stubble of our bad works, and out comes the gold and silver tried by fire. I’m a Catholic, and I believe you have just as much faith as me. We are brothers before our Lord. We are all part of the Church of Christ on earth. I never get the hatred imparted on Catholics by other Christians. There have been popes that have done very bad things, they are humans, not Gods. No human is free of sin. The people of the Catholic church that I’ve met are good people, just as many of the people in the other Christian churches. As I understand the word of our Lord, we now CAN go to heaven if we have faith and belief in our Saviour, but definitely won’t if we sin without repentance, good works are definitely appreciated by the Lord, but can’t fix what’s broken, only true repentance can. My understanding of your position is that your works don’t matter (good nor bad?), you’re either saved by your faith and go to heaven, or not. Ok, so we differ somewhat. Jezus made our connection to God personal, not through a priesthood and hidden by veils. I respect your personal beliefs, and I pray for your salvation, as I do everyone. The world doesn’t need Christian infighting, it needs prayer and love. Sorry for the long comment 😅

It is the perfect book of God, Notice the word choice you used "appreciate" in substitute for worshipping a graven image such as Mary. "Notice the word 'All, in scripture". You speak directly to God, there is no need for a pope. "Sinning popes" or "human-beings" is exactly the reason why there should be no such, hence the division. The person Brother Robert is referring to who blasphemes the Godhead is Bryan Denlinger. I used to actually follow this guy for a time agreeing with him on many of his teachings because many years ago (probably about 14 now) he didn't blaspheme the Trinity. I shut him off long ago after I heard him say "Jesus Christ is God the Father". Just search his name. You'll find plenty of info on him some good, mostly bad.
I think it’s confusing. For the life of you can’t understand? There’s so many Bible verses saying jesus is not God and the Father is God plainly, but you can’t find one where it says “jesus is God” or jesus outright saying I’m “God”.
All that God is cannot be contained, cannot be at one location, cannot be seen or observed by His Creation, He is just too Holy and Majestic. All that mankind will ever behold of God will be in Christ Jesus. Jesus is the only One sitting on the Throne, Jesus is the only One that will be worshiped because Almighty God dwells in Him fully. If believers could see the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, then there would be three Thrones, which the Scriptures completely denies.
Didn't you read when Stephen was stoned to death in Acts he saw Jesus Christ standing by the right hand of God. You can see the Holy Spirit. Scripture says the Holy Spirit is like the wind which can't be seen. Are you in some cult
Brother robert i believe that its Elijah and Enoch coming back as they are the only 2 to be taken to heaven without tasting death ...those 2 have been put on hold for such time as today to fulfill prophecy ... Why do preachers use the catholic term"trinity" when the trinity is not in the bible? The Godhead is in the bible. Colossians 2:9 They should stop referring to the Godhead as a trinity and just call it the "Godhead."
And yet, the word "TRINITY" come from about 100 years after Jesus, while the Catholic Church doesn't officially start until about 325 A.D. with Constantine. So, the word "Trinity" is really a "pre-Catholic word!" Did you know that? So, maybe that's why many Christians use that word, as they are NOT CATHOLIC! Hmmmm.

You do a lot of digging & I appreciate that. However a capital C on comforter does not personify the holy spirit. The only capital letters in the early manuscripts were the UNCIALS. Or they were in a continual lower case long hand. The capital C was added just as punctuation, verses & chpts. Also another in vs 16 is allos which means 2 or more. Not sure how this helps but it surely means something! I have a Bullinger Bible & he explains so much. God is Holy Spirit but what we receive is holy spirit. I really do enjoy your teachings. I use capitals for all of the names of the Trinity out of respect for God. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost and Comforter. Jesus Christ said l must leave but l will send you another Comforter. Respect for the Trinity. We use capital letters for people and God is far greater than any person.

I'm a retired corrections officer. I met a few inmates that truly changed and were saved while in prison. And I've met many many more that would go to every chapel service and activity yet you could tell that they had not changed at all. But that kind of behavior is the same in the freeworld too.

I also teach sometimes I work with men in recovery and I just wish we could just stop badmouth other people just teach the truth, just teach the truth and stop worrying about what everybody else is doing because it makes us look bad when we are constantly blasting other people when possibly it could be another brother and sister doesn’t have something right at the moment

Someone has been telling me that "Asking Jesus into your heart" is what saves. Refuses to show any scripture that makes that claim. Except John 3: 3-8 which makes no claim. NOW they're telling me the trinity is not Biblical and this video pops up! Wow!!!! What a coincidence. Praise Jesus Christ.

I was involved with Jehovah Witnesses and they won't baptize you till you give up smoking and become what they fill is perfect. If you give up smoking it has to be for a long period of time. Great bible study. Praise the Lord. I am concerned with your take on repentance. Its more then feeling sorry. It's a change of mind which will lead to action. Yes, God was the first to repent, and it certainly lead to action did it not! It doesn't mean try to earn your way to heaven that's impossible, or that you have to clean yourself up, but a true change of mind manifest itself in the physical. Jonah wasn't sent to say feel sorry, he was sent to say turn from your wicked ways and recieve Gods mercy. God bless and keep teaching the word!

Didn't Mary question how it would be possible for her to become pregnant being a virgin? She pretty much asked the same question as John's father.
She did question it and that’s why she says at Luke 1:34: “But Mary said to the angel: ‘How is this to be, since I am not having sexual relations with a man?” Th angel tells her in verse 35 that Holy Spirit would come upon her.

About Matthew 5:30; I think this is a verse that can be taken both figuratively and literally. You went over the literal meaning. But I believe it also alludes to activities that may cause tou to sin. Ex: If you can't watch a favorite sports team without cussing or screaming when something bad happens, you might be better off not indulging.

However, at 55:00 minutes in, i slightly disagree, but i could be wrong, but i think that the baptism of fire could be the refining fire that will burn off the chaff and stubble of our bad works, and out comes the gold and silver tried by fire. Just my thought on that verse

I’m a Catholic, and I believe you have just as much faith as me. We are brothers before our Lord. We are all part of the Church of Christ on earth. I never get the hatred imparted on Catholics by other Christians. There have been popes that have done very bad things, they are humans, not Gods. No human is free of sin. The people of the Catholic church that I’ve met are good people, just as many of the people in the other Christian churches. We are all saved by Jezus dying on the cross, He took upon Himself original sin and all our sins afterwards. Being saved and in Grace has enabled us to go to Heaven. I guess we disagree about what that means. As I understand the word of our Lord, we now CAN go to heaven if we have faith and belief in our Saviour, but definitely won’t if we sin without repentance, good works are definitely appreciated by the Lord, but can’t fix what’s broken, only true repentance can. My understanding of your position is that your works don’t matter (good nor bad?), you’re either saved by your faith and go to heaven, or not. Ok, so we differ somewhat.
Jezus made our connection to God personal, not through a priesthood and hidden by veils. I respect your personal beliefs, and I pray for your salvation, as I do everyone. The world doesn’t need Christian infighting, it needs prayer and love.

I just was amazed to hear the words “those are a catholic invention” as a REASON to not believe in the trinity of our Lord, or sermons on Sunday. I called that hatred, perhaps it’s not. I would think something being done by Catholics wouldn’t matter if it’s still the word of God. Taking our traditions as something to revile just because it’s our tradition sounded hateful, perhaps it’s not.
We don’t worship the pope. Never have. He’s just the traditional descendant of st. Peter, the apostle, a man, but one whose word should be taken as valuable.
Of course SOME people do worship the pope, but I would guess there are some in your church that glorify certain ministers more than they should. That’s the way of man, we sin, we look for God in places He is not.

But I guess the trinity “is a catholic invention” (which it’s not), so believing Jezus is God is probably sinful in your mind. Ok. Notice the word choice you used "appreciate" in substitute for worshipping a graven image such as Mary.
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. "Notice the word 'All, in scripture". You speak directly to God, there is no need for a pope.
"Sinning popes" or "human-beings" is exactly the reason why there should be no such, hence the division. Psalms 118:8 - It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

The person Brother Robert is referring to who blasphemes the Godhead is Bryan Denlinger. I used to actually follow this guy for a time agreeing with him on many of his teachings because many years ago (probably about 14 now) he didn't blaspheme the Trinity. I shut him off long ago after I heard him say "Jesus Christ is God the Father". Just search his name. You'll find plenty of info on him some good, mostly bad.

I think it’s confusing. For the life of you can’t understand? There’s so many Bible verses saying jesus is not God and the Father is God plainly, but you can’t find one where it says “jesus is God” or jesus outright saying I’m “God”.

They should stop referring to the Godhead as a trinity and just call it the "Godhead."
And yet, the word "TRINITY" come from about 100 years after Jesus, while the Catholic Church doesn't officially start until about 325 A.D. with Constantine. You do a lot of digging & I appreciate that. However a capital C on comforter does not personify the holy spirit. The only capital letters in the early manuscripts were the UNCIALS. Or they were in a continual lower case long hand. The capital C was added just as punctuation, verses & chpts. Also another in vs 16 is allos which means 2 or more. Not sure how this helps but it surely means something! I have a Bullinger Bible & he explains so much. God is Holy Spirit but what we receive is holy spirit.

I use capitals for all of the names of the Trinity out of respect for God. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost and Comforter. Jesus Christ said l must leave but l will send you another Comforter. Respect for the Trinity. We use capital letters for people and God is far greater than any person.
