Excellent as always. Makes me a bit sad as it can take weeks - a song that is. My creative process is having the idea and sounds in my head first (having a day job). Then typically having to find a new library/bank of sounds then auditioning them and making fine programming amendments. Once in place, I then would focus on a section, such as a Chorus. Although a change in melody and chords aren't always required, the songs I put together warrant this. Then there is the transition into other sections, ie dynamics. I then go away and play that back to see how it feels. Sometimes it sounds crap if I have spent too long on a session. For you music lives and breathes within you and you are completely in the zone; no doubt you would do what I explained in hours. The challenge for me is usually finding the right sounds to fit my developed song idea.
Thanks fam. Our processes are all different. There are definitely exceptions to how I create and I never try to limit myself to just one workflow. But one thing I've learned is to create presets of certain sound banks for certain types of tracks/songs. Even though I might adjust or switch some sounds out, it usually speeds up my workflow dramatically. (Sound selection is usually the longest part of my process as well.) 🙏🏽✊🏽
Chill and melancholic vibes, beautiful beat bro! 🔥 My favourite moments to produce is when I'm emotionally charged, it can be sadness, it can be happiness... in those moments I feel the best comes out. 🫡🎶🎵
A lot of them are. I realized I didn't show all the VSTs at the beginning, so I made sure to show them throughout the rest of the video. But I used XPand 2 more than anything else.
This is more recording an R&B Beat instead of making one. You surely took some time to write the melodym chords and have the sounds picked. Your work is absolutely stunning none the less though - of course
Thanks. That's incorrect though. If you ask anyone who's watched me make beats live, they can confirm that this is my normal process. No thought went into what I was going to create prior to pressing record. I do start from templates that I've developed over the years and that's why the sounds were already in place. (That's one of my tips for a faster workflow.) You can also look at some of my older videos where I was making beats in less than 10 minutes. Thanks again and I'm glad you enjoyed it. 🙏🏾✊🏾

If only I could get my work flow to be this smooth and seem less…
You got it bro - I have a members video coming soon with some tips to speed up workflow. 🙏🏾✊🏾
Man no offense but you a cold ninja like Sub-Zero...🥶🥶🥶
I appreciate it brother! 🙏🏾✊🏾
This beat is fire 🔥 keep up the good work! Question the Sine Lead (Jun 6) you used is that your custom preset?
Thanks bro. 🙏🏽 There's a preset called "Sine Wave" in Jun 6. Go to the VCF assigned to the pitch bend wheel bar and adjust it to about .075. ✊🏽
I had to learn not to over think things and just get lost in the vibe. Now i can cook up a banger in about 20 minutes (not including mixing)
That's right bro. Not that I necessarily try to put a time limit on it, but I usually find that things move pretty fast if I'm really vibing.
This track a vibe..😃🫡
@@biggwillbeats4384Thanks bro!! 🙏🏾✊🏾
the bass 🔥what vst?
Thanks bro. 🙏🏾 It's 808 Studio II. ✊🏾
@@melotheproducer Is that a preset, because I have 808 studio II or has it been programmed by you?
@@xhy20x Go to a preset called "Tory". Turn the kick sampler off and adjust the pitch range to 2. Then just save that as a new preset/favorite.
@@melotheproducer Thank you, King!

How???
Are these sounds really from xpand 2?
A lot of them are. I realized I didn't show all the VSTs at the beginning, so I made sure to show them throughout the rest of the video. But I used XPand 2 more than anything else.
@@melotheproducer your mastery of sounds.... Makes me wonder
nice. need to reinstal xpand on my comp
Thanks bro. 🙏🏾 Yeah, it's definitely underrated.
Which vst is that synth so fye?
Thanks bro. Glad you enjoyed it. I used a couple of different synths, but I showed the VSTs in the video. 🙏🏾✊🏾
What strings are you using?
They're from XPand2. I think I used the Ballad Strings patch.
