This would make a great beach bag for the kids too. Using this pattern as a template, you can make any size bag to function as you like. Great tutorial and very talented. Thank you!
Instead of focusing on the amount made in one day, focus on the item she's created/making. I think it is a very versatile bag/item. Plus, everyone has a different speed of crocheting, 5 to 50 per day, it really is of no consequences in the whole scheme of things.
Of course the amount that you can turn out in one day is of consequence, especially when the thumbnail looks like she's making headbands, not an entire freaking market bag, and the clickbait title says she can make 50 in one day.
As an Accessory Bag, this is cute but....I noticed in the comments below that although this bag i lovely, there were quite a few folks confused as to how this could be used as a bag (without a liner) without having things fall out. Well, firstly, thank you to "Knitting Home" for sharing this adorable bag. I don't think that most would trust it as a regular Accessory Bag but I could see it used as a small produce shopping bag. Such as for picking up day or two of some fresh veggies/fruit. I think it would be large enough for light weight produce shopping and yet not too large that it would make for a heavy burden to carry home. However, I could see making ones with even a larger mesh section (not large Mesh itself) for those wonderful days off shopping at the Farmer's Markets. This could be a wonderful pattern for using up a stock of 'Yarn ends' too. Now that could make quite a colorful project!!! For a Market Bag, these would be really nice; they are light weight, compactable, washable and more study than those manufactured produce mesh bags. I really like the Strong supportive banded Edging and handle Straps ( though I would probably make the straps thicker for stability) And these can be made in customized sizes as preferred too!!!My opinion... Really nice pattern!!! Thanks
When I commented before, i realised I should have watched through to the end. I have made a bag similar, but much bigger for vegetables it's important for veggies to have air hense the pattern. Just make sure its 100% cotton, that way the yarn won't break. It's good for what its meant for phone, sunglasses and /or purse. However, i do think it should have a lining, so potential thieves can't see into the bag. It's a lovely easy design, but mau not prove popular because of it's design.
To me, it would make more sense to just change colors while making this, rather than have to do a bunch of slip stitches along one side while attaching the next color to it. This is a really cool bag, and I'm working on making one now.
@@kellbingit's so her clickbait title would be effective. By making the individual sections and then slip stitching them together, she makes it look like she's making headbands in the thumbnail, which you could easily turn out 50 of in one day. You can't make 50 of these market bags in one day.
Definitley will be making some of these, for me I will do the body a wee bit longer and the top a couple of rows less.. These will be great for groceries, specially for veggies.. Many thanks for an easy pattern for great bag.. 🐦
This “I made 50 in one day” is a tag line in all the videos no matter what the project is. I just disregard it bc most of them are creative and come out beautifully. ❤
If I was going to use it as a handbag I would line it with fabric so it keeps it personal of what the contents would be inside..Otherwise it would make a great fresh produce bag just maybe make them a little bigger..Very cute though and I may make some
no way you can know how many she can make in a day. only she knows. i don't doubt her -- because "why??" why bother to look mean to Knitting Home? and to the many positive readers. i don't doubt she sells these.
@@croshaylady4031 yes, you absolutely can know that she didn't make 50 of them a day. Because it physically isn't possible, even if she spent full 24 hours doing them. Also, yep, I'm sure she can sell them.
@@croshaylady4031 it's not possible for her to make 50 of these in one day. It takes a lot more than half an hour to create one and, even if she made one every half hour, she would have to work 24 hours a day without even stopping to pee, much less eat or sleep, and would still only be able to turn out 48 of them in that amount of time 🤷🏼♀️
Looks like it’s a bit cumbersome. I wouldn’t have the patience. 50 in one day seems a stretch. Although the finished product is quite nice. Best wishes. Thanks for sharing. ❤
You would want to use cotton yarn for these. Acrylic yarn would stretch with any amount of weight put in it, so you would end up with the openings being much larger than when you first crochet the bag. Pretty much any cotton yarn would work just fine. Just make sure you use an appropriately sized hook for the yarn weight that you choose.
I think you're right but I'd just use an empty paper towel roll! Easier, no work involved because time is money, no wasted yarn and it fits perfectly next to the silverware tray in the drawer!

Been looking for a good pattern that works up quickly. Going to try and see how long this takes me. Thanks for sharing.
I would love this as a headband.❤
I was thinking the same. I thought it was 😂❤
Me too. I thought that’s what it was. Now just have to figure out the count for a headband 😊
Yes, I thought of the same thing.
Looks like a good reusable vegetable shopping bag.
Too tiny for that.
I love the work and the way it’s crocheted but this comment did make me laugh😂❤

Tht is the cutest bag looking at the end of video
Ofcourse it's about the bag. But the title is clickbait and annoying, it's distracting.

Loved the design . Keep it up. God bless
That is wonderful. I would love to make for my granddaughter kindergarden teachers for Christmas this year. Lovely idea

I'm new to crochet, but looking at the math, couldn't the pattern just be altered to multiples of 5 instead of 7 to make the holes slightly smaller?

What type and size of yarn would be good for this?
So pretty yet simple
Wow I want to make a big version of it now.
I love the choice of colors 😊
Gracias x este tutorial rs un gran aporte sl las crocheteras ,ya la hice ye quedó lindo!!! Saludos desde Cartagena Colombia
I love this; very new to crochet, & I think I could do this. Thank you for sharing, very generous 💟
Why do we have to sew two of them together? Can’t we just keep going and join it at the end?
I don’t know how you managed to make 50 in one day
It's impossible.
maybe it’s a typo
It’s maybe a 30 minute project for them they might crochet faster when not showing others how to make them too
Maybe 50 of these stripes😂

I think🤔 we would have the same problem either way. It is beautiful and soon enough I will make a few for my friends. Thx for sharing
@@virginiar.macias6512 No, I'm making one now and just switched colors at the beginning of a row. It eliminates all those slip stitches.

A tote. My Mom made me a few of those. Beautiful. All off white. I use one as a beach bag.. towel, water, book. Have fun 😊
It can be for curtains to hold them back

Its very beautiful ❤❤❤

I had to fast forward to check it out, but, who believes 50 a day?
Nope 😂
I don’t think so.

Very nice bag ❤but can you please tell me for this bag no need lining?
Oh I get it now. It's a bag 16:49

It would help if you showed the finish product at the beginning.
Do you do knitting ir crochet? I am looking for a arghan using varigated yarn. Thank you dor your gelp.

She made them maybe ovee a time and sold them in one day

What are they used for?
I subscribed will I get the instructions
Wondering is that cotton and what size hook
Es sieht aus wie unsere Nylonnetzteil die wir früher hatten und die sehr praktisch waren !
What are they?
A little bag
Same here what are they ?
To use for what
I think she's making a plastic bag holder.. 🙅♀️
It could be used for both!
Have the written pattern in a pdf or on a website?
They worked from 4am till, I'm guessing, sundown???
May I ask where to buy soft yet durable nylon yarn to make shopping bag?
Can this type of bag be crochet besides cotton??
What type of yarn did you use?
What kind of yarn please
Are they headbands? I can't figure this out.

50 in one day? Impossible, your hands will be cramping but it is nice.
Yeah she's lying.
She prepared the pieces beforehand and assembled the 50 bags in 1 day, I guess.
Y a que precio las vendio ? How much did you sell it? Cada una? Ech one ?
Immediately click this video when I see 50 in 1 day 😮😅😂
What kind of ya rn did you use cotton so it could be washed?
Cute but I would put secure latches on side cause looks like stuff fall out on side
Très joli sac, j'aimerais l'essayer, vous me conseille quel type de fil ?
Es ist Baumwolle in Schulqualität==mehrfädig, dicker, Jutegarn geht auch.
What is it,?
What it is used for?
What yarn does she use?
Cute
IMPORTANTLY, WHAT YARN ARE YOU USING>>>>>>
Which type of yarn is that
What kind of yarn is being used?
How many rows altogether?
Where can I get this pattern. Beautiful

Yeah, I'd go hunting for better instructions and a proper pattern. The video was unclear and used the wrong notation for some of their stitches.
Save some time by going to the craft store and buying wooden or plastic rings and attaching them to the bags instead of crocheting a flimsy handle.
I THINK IT IS NICE. I would put a lining in it..
new at crochet, where do I get the pattern?
What is it that you're making?
