I had strangers around me doing the same thing, and in the area i was standing in everyone started to hold hands and everyone hugged at the end. Such a amzaing voice. I do hope that from the rubble and the tragedy that Christchurch will once again be rebuilt and renewed to its former splendour. I was there only six weeks, but in 67 years I have not found a more splendid city or a friendlier people.
Simply a perfect performance. Notice her timing,stopping,then continuing to add depth and strength to this beautiful song..Her pauses just emphasized the meaning.Great,absolutely awe inspiring.
I absolutely agree to others' opinions of her being an angel with no wings. She has wonderful voice. I guess that an angel's voice is the same as hers. I offer her many thanks From south korea.

Isn't she just so flawless, both her looks and her voice, and she can sing so powerfully without any music, that takes some doing as then any faltering sticks out a mile so she's a real class singer just like the late and great Judy Durham from the Seekers.

As if anybody needed proof that this wonderful young lady has a stunning vocal. A few years back i asked a Bass-baritone to possibly sing a lyric i'd penned for the music of Vivaldi. He said it might be a problem scheduling anything because he was working on a charity song with Hayley Westenra... So i said "it's fine...she takes priority..she is special".... I eventually managed to find my own Soprano to sing three songs for me....google Hannah Drury....SWEET LADY ENGLAND, THE STORM and EPIPHANIA....my patience and respect for Hayley and that other singer seems to have totally paid off.
