The only thing I have done to mine so far was change out the servos. I put the steering servo on the throttle, and a stronger metal geared servo for the steering. Steers a lot better, and the throttle response is so much better. I just wish they would still make these, and supply parts for it.
GOOD shit bro. Nice buggy. I almost got this before I got my basher sabertooth. Still lookn to get this just not sure when exactly. It's not a losi bit it's still very nice. Would maybe like to see slightly thicker shock mounts but other than that.
are there upgrade parts on this ? if you cannot afford those top racing buggy ..this will do just upgrade the driveshafts, servos and engine..? then it will run just like the 1k$ kind..
You don't need to upgrade anything on it unless you want a bigger engine for it. The drive train on mine is all metal, all I did was upgrade the steering servo, and it works just fine. I have yet to break anything on mine, and I beat the crap out of it. Mine has an SH .21 engine, and after it wears out I will get a bigger engine for it.
Hey there, this is Nitro RC Nerds here and we've been getting a lot of question about this product. I'd like to talk with someone about this vehicle pertaining to tech specs, in addition to market share, etc. Basically I'm wanting to compare it against other mid-market nitro 1/8 buggies. Please send me a YT message with whom I should ask for. Trust me, I'm responsible for 1/2 your HobbyPartz start box sales over the past 18 months so am not out to rip this or anything...just waning to educate myself with explicit questions to the design team so at minimum I'll understand the specs and who knows might even try it out. We own world class and low-market RTR kits so don't have a vested interest in anything other than educating our viewers when we can. Thanks!
+Nitro RCNerds Some of the question I have are: Clutch (show style/weight. spring tension) Clutch bell (inner-wall depth..helps determine what aftermarkt shoes can be used) Suspension (kingpin or knuckles)? Caster blocks available? It notes adjustable toe in...so are there multiple rear toe blocks..and/or bushing to set that and anti-squat? Is steering ackerman plate or drag link (and is it adjustable)? Shock caps look bleeder style...can it run emulsion style? Is weight including wheels/body/enigne/batteries? Etc Etc Etc I'd hate hate tpo hit up a service desk tech with all this at once which is why I'd like to talk with someone astute with this vehicle. Thanks again!
+tyler pickard OFNA Hyper 7. Not what 'OFNA' vehicle dude below is referencing, but I have a Hyper 7 (AND a Mugen MBX6R) and they are a tie for durability. But these are just words. Check out my channel to see for yourself. I'm trying to learn more about this vehicle though.
+Breaking rc OFNA Hyper 7. I own/owned many of the brands noted above in addition to TLR, Hot Bodies, Agama, Tamiya etc.but those are not really for beginners. The OFNA Hyper 7 is as durable if not the MOST durable surface kit on the market. The downside is getting it setup to drive like a true race machine, but due to its rich, race history there are plenty of option parts available to make it as competitive as anything at any club level. But this is true with all mid-market vehicles.
Why would you buy this over the rtr losi 8ight for 350$ ,or the rtr kyosho mp9 for the same price as this buggy 499$$ not saying it’s junk but the losi and the kyosho are definitely better and you can buy parts and upgrades for them don’t waste your money folks if this buggy was 299 or even 350 max then i could see getting it but this buggy just doesn’t hold up to the competition!!!!
if you can afford the $1000 racing buggy kits yes this is not you want ..this can be upgraded for sure ..by spending half the price of those real racing kits this is ok ..for beginners who want to race cheap.
I'm not what anyone would call rich, so I really try to spend my money wisely, I have a whole closest full of rcx garbage, that I can't get parts for ? They have terrible customer service, and they are always out of stock ,? They're stuff looks really cool, but if it brakes , your out of luck trying to get parts ??? Just not real happy with rcx !
DJHeroMasta yes sir you are correct, but if I'm in the business of selling goods that will need regular maintenance then I'm dang well gonna sell the parts my customers are going to require to maintain they're truck, car,or what ever they purchase from my company?
***** Yeah well you've got a point and I know because my first Rc was an exceed from nitrorcx but you have to keep in mind, these cars are meant for beginners or novice drivers who aren't trying to bash like you would with a traxxas or Losi for example. They just want to have a little fun or get into the hobby before buying a $300 kit
This buggy is great have had it for a year now and havent broke one part at the track great car dont listen to the guys dissing thus car
Nice video. Basically a absoluetly standard buggy with good servos, thick aluminum parts and tires, that will be slicks in no time on asphalt :D

You sure dodged the fact that it is a single speed and not a 2 speed like most today. Not an issue as some of us care less about 2 speed.
When was the last time you seen a 1/8 scale buggy that had a 2speed.
I’m waitin on mines to come it was suppose to come yesterday #stillwaitin
did it come yet?

I like the video but it can definitely use some different music Lmao jk good job
Bought one and settings are all outta wack how do I redo needle settings all three
Watch the video from them called fine-tuning your rc car
Were can I fine a pullstart form?
NitroRCX sells them, AMain hobbies sells them or look up a pull start for an SH .21 engine online. I found all the parts for mine.
What would be a good beginner nitro
Onroad - Thunder Tiger Ts2n 2WD
Offroad - Kyosho Dbx & Dst
Thats what i have, they're super easy to drive

nice buggy but if you are sure that you really love this hobby and you invest on a competition kit from the start you wont look ever back to these.
What would be a good gas buggy for a beginner somebody rebly
Maybe look at team associated, mugen, X-ray

I've never actually driven on a track but to me it seems like you don't need a good rc to get fast lap times
20%nitro 14 or 15% oil run perfect

It looks like a mp7 clone.gear boxes look like they came from a GS storm . Spoke too soon dont look like a mp7 at all. My mistake.
If your ever looking to race Nitro Buggy's 1/8th scale. This is NOT what you want to race.
if you can afford the $1000 racing buggy kits yes this is not you want ..this can be upgraded for sure ..by spending half the price of those real racing kits this is ok ..for beginners who want to race cheap.
Roypert Arsey ...so this good 4 a newbie
Thats pretty obvious, look at the price of the buggy
how fast can this rig go?
The top speed should be about 35 mph
don't bother...this is a piece of junk in beautiful looks..
Good day as Faso to make a cash purchase and withdraw the merchandise personally
I have a race in my scholl plz sir
highly cheap looking build ...
It's actually not a cheap build at all, it's a lot better than most out there. I purchased one used, and I have yet to break anything on it.
only looks good for display...you cannot play this buggy, this is a bad buggy
Agreed all the way I think it does look cool on display but when you put it down on a track I honestly cant see it lasting very long
Mine works just fine, I have yet to break anything on it. It's far from junk.
do t buy nitro rcx they don't back there products
Garbage dealership.! Awesome, 👎
???

***** You can buy parts from other manufacturers.
