Festival "GIN NEL BORGO" - Diano Castello

Questa sera ti portiamo a Diano Castello, dove si svolge "Gin nel Borgo Festival", iniziativa dedicata allo “spirit” più in voga del momento: una vetrina per le aziende della Liguria e per i loro prodotti, fortemente legati al territorio per la presenza di erbe tipiche della nostra regione. Una serata all’insegna del buon bere, del buon mangiare e della buona musica, in uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia.
Ne potete scoprire gli angoli più suggestivi grazie al percorso gastronomico itinerante, in abbinamento a proposte musicali di diverso genere, per trascorrere una piacevole serata tra vie e le piazzette del borgo medievale. La parte gastronomica è curata da quattro associazioni del comprensorio: Famia Dianese (antipasto), Amici del Castello (primi), Associazione Rebattabuse (secondi) e Pro Loco Alta Valle Dianese (dolci e snack). Le location sono, nell’ordine, piazza Quaglia, Il giardino sul Mare (traversa via Meloria), piazza Giudice e piazza Matteotti (che ospiterà anche la postazione dei barman e dei produttori). La serata vede coinvolti anche i due locali del centro storico: Osteria di Castello e Caffè del Borgo.
Il centro pulsante della festa è però la piazza più grande, dove sono collocati gli espositori di gin e, soprattutto la postazione dei barman. Sono ben 45 i cocktail che potranno essere richiesti, tra le 18 e le 23.30 circa, alla postazione in piazza Matteotti. I barman sono tutti professionisti che lavorano nei migliori alberghi e locali della Riviera. 👉Nove sono gli “𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤” dedicati ai singoli distillati, altri quattro - più classici - sono proposti in combinazione con un gin a scelta tra i nove disponibili.
A completare il ricco programma di Gin nel Borgo saranno, presso il teatro Concordia, nel cuore del borgo, la mostra delle opere di alcuni giovani artisti locali, e l’anteprima delle 145 “etichette” partecipanti al 31° Premio Vermentino, storica manifestazione che si terrà sabato 13 e domenica 14 luglio.
Cosa aspetti a venire a visitare Diano Castello?
Il borgo ti aspetta anche a luglio per il premio Vermentino, e la storica “festa in Ciassa”, ripetuta poi ad agosto, a settembre, con la rievocazione medievale “Castrum Diani”. E in autunno, con la notte di halloween. Chi ci porterai?
This evening we take you to Diano Castello, where the "Gin nel Borgo Festival" takes place, an initiative dedicated to the most popular "spirit" of the moment: a showcase for Ligurian companies and their products, strongly linked to the territory due to the presence of herbs typical of our region. An evening of good drinking, good eating and good music, in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
You can discover its most evocative corners thanks to the itinerant gastronomic journey, combined with musical offerings of different genres, to spend a pleasant evening among the streets and squares of the medieval village. The gastronomic part is taken care of by four associations of the area: Famia Dianese (starter), Amici del Castello (first courses), Associazione Rebattabuse (second courses) and Pro Loco Alta Valle Dianese (desserts and snacks). The locations are, in order, Piazza Quaglia, Il Giardino sul Mare (across Via Meloria), Piazza Giudice and Piazza Matteotti (which will also host the barman and producers' station). The evening also involves the two clubs in the historic center: Osteria di Castello and Caffè del Borgo.
The pulsating center of the party, however, is the largest square, where the gin displays and, above all, the barman's station are located. There are 45 cocktails that can be requested, between approximately 6pm and 11.30pm, at the station in Piazza Matteotti. The barmen are all professionals who work in the best hotels and clubs on the Riviera. 👉 There are nine "flavours" dedicated to individual spirits, another four - more classic - are offered in combination with a gin of your choice from the nine available.
To complete the rich program of Gin nel Borgo there will be, at the Concordia theatre, in the heart of the village, the exhibition of the works of some young local artists, and the preview of the 145 "labels" participating in the 31st Premio Vermentino, a historic event which will be held on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July.
