So I looked up Morisette on wiki and turns out she did one musical with Repertory Philippines, which was where Lea Salonga trained growing up, and where most of the Filipinos in the original cast of Miss Saigon were trained. No wonder she sings well, she received some training from them too. Another fun fact: Her dad is a rocker and named her after Alanis Morisette!
Fun facts: Most of the Guest are Artist and Professional Singers because Christian Bautista is a Singer too. He invited his all work friend thats why most of the guest are singer.

Hahaha... I get what you were saying but this is kind of a normal reaction from filipinos in general... Halo is not "the song to impress" anymore unless you put something different into the song like a whistle, a really hard melisma, high belts above e5, super head voice, or anything that would catch someones ear... The last option for you to catch filipino audience is to sing really bad cause even tone deaf will know you messed up and will call you out by cheering or booing... Hahaha
