30 years ago my late father farm was just like yours with livestock such as pigs chicken ducks and fish. Now all of his children are grown up with good education and career that whenever I tune to your video, I got goosebumps and old memories flooded back. I m from Borneo Island
I think we had the same kind of childhood, I grew up in Grenada 🇬🇩, my Dad was a farmer he worked the land it was hard work, he never made much money. However, we were never hungry. RIP dad.

I'm from the USA and came from mountains of Virginia and we never had that many pigs but I remember pulling weeds for the pigs. They ate all kind of stuff. We fed them pumpkins when they were ripe but we gave them 2 buckets of slop a day. One in morning and one at night. Love watching your video.
Hi Robert, just a little advice, before you go to the market return the cover of your corn the weather is unpredictable it might rain. Thats a lot of taro, are you selling it by kilo? You know you can cook the stem of the taro for the pigs. Good luck in selling the taro. Drive carefully and take care always.

I missed this video, Robert! I have some advice for you when you plant the taros next time....dig trenches and fill them with fine and loose soil then plant your taros there. You will have different results. Bigger taros mean more demand in the market. Good to see how you have diversified your farm though.

You’ve planted a lot of food resources, rice, corn, cassava, toro, pumpkin, beans, sweet potatoes, etc…I’m so glad that you have a good toro harvest, and now you have a motorcycle to transport heavy stuffs. I have some advice for you when you plant the taros next time....dig trenches and fill them with fine and loose soil then plant your taros there. You will have different results. Bigger taros mean more demand in the market.
