I love these monster encounters, they have a very high creepy factor but also have a great relationship to the original Lovecraftian stories. Love it.
Brilliant video dude - love the ideas, the enthusiasm, the SHARP dress sense!! Just excellent. Thanks for that!
I really love the Crawling Ones! Chaosium uses the Mi-Go and Serpent People quite frequently so I always appreciate seeing discussion of some lesser-used types like that.
Great video. I'm enjoying your channel. I'm new to this game and I really like these short intros, and this is the kind of video I'd like to see more of.
oh smart zombies sounds pretty cool. Reminds me a little of "I am Legend"
I’ll be using a seaside adventure in my 5e campaign I’m working on for our September Con. It’s got a similar fishy people thing going on. But I’m glad it’s a different plot so you won’t already know the story line.
Ghouls in Call of Cthulhu aren't undead. They're actually a separate species, though humans can become ghouls and they can interbreed with ghouls, and over the course of a ghoul's immortal lifespan a ghoul might forget it's a ghoul and spend some time as a human again. Ghouls are funky and cool in this setting, but they aren't undead.
Fair enough, I should've been more clear that they just resemble undead. I'll pin this comment to clear things up.
