Some graphics aim for "photorealism" and fail. Some graphics aim for "art" and succeed. Sprite style visuals (especially now) often fall into the latter category. I personally prefer non-photorealistic graphics just like I also tend to prefer non-photorealistic painting and drawing.
its the right amount of details on the screen. photo realism can be overwhelming for me personally. also, everything happens inside of our heads and the imagination has more details than any graphics

The art and game perspective are really nice. I like how the characters can maintain some level of detail while still being relatively small on camera. Beautiful game!

The second: we are here primarily for splatts commentary, and if we like what we see of the game we buy it, and like it even more by playing it better.

i love pixelated games especially games like this i looks amazing i think they need to add a lil more to the animations as well as make it so the armor shows on your character but for a alpha game 5 stars so far ty splatter for showing us this i will def buy this when it comes out

There's something about Sprite animations that I just freaking love. No amount of 3d, 4d, VR, CGI, FMV or realism can beat sprites for me :)
Because sprites represent videogames in general since the beginning. It ages like a fine wine unlike old n64 and ps1 games.

Day one purchase for me. Love the aesthetic, love the gameplay, love the skill system. Indies are the freakin best.
It's not my aesthetic, but the game and the vibe are very well-designed and thought out. It really does feel exceptionally solid.
A lot of them are better than triple A titles.
