Matt and Johnny talking about punk about an hour fifty into this was gold. Matt has a really great way of articulating a lot of thoughts and feelings I have about the Blink scene of punk. I always aligned more with the era he was into too and he put it a lot more eloquently than I ever do lol
And back in 2016, they both alongside Zacky and Brian welcomed Brooks Wackerman to make a progressive metal music better with The Stage album.
JJ is one deep, full of wisdom (and experience) in this game of life. Every word he said just "felt right". I don't know how many people cried at some point during the interview but I'm one of them. Such an emotional rollercoaster. You can tell his friendship with Matt (and his wife) is very sacred.
P.S I like how Johny held tears of awe the whole time😛😛.

Im just now catching up on my Drinks With Johnny episodes. The story about Johnny's mom has me crying! 😂😂 Also, I learned so much about JJ and his story is definitely inspirational and left me thinking about my own life journey differently.

When they started talking about how you never know someone else is going through all I could think of is “I see your angle, but we differ from our points of view”
As a kid, I always hoped I could see the personalities of my favorite band more. And now, the fact I can watch full conversations, and be able to draw from the free game you guys casually give out, it is honestly a dream come true to be able to listen to, and apply the information to my own music career.
Cheers to you guys, I became a fan at city of evil and ever since the stage I’ve been more obsessed than I ever thought I could be. The prog vibe was amazing I can’t wait to see what happens next. Idc what you guys sound like, it’s always gonna be A7X to me and I applaud you guys for going next gen with NFT’s and staying relevant in the hard rock market. Seriously inspiring for a kid like myself making a name for myself through hip hop in Detroit.

This was by far the best episode I've seen yet! I haven't watched any for a few months, but seriously, mad respect and love for this JJ rapper character, what a cool guy. And of course seeing and hearing Mattt was a privilege, all 3 of you, awesome job, loved it, can't wait to hear the new album, I know you've all been working hard on it in between being family men as well, and I wish you all much happiness and health in this new year! BTW...i lived in boise for 2 years and in meridian for 3. i hated it back then bc my mom and us 2 boys were coming from canada...i wanted to go back to california, but she decided she liked boise so we just stopped driving. in hindsight, i wish i had TRIED to appreciate it more.
Wow, I came for a video podcast to pass time, and saw M. Shadows was on the show with Johnny, them being in band together.. And in the end I got an amazing life lesson from JJ whom I have never even heard of or seen until now, which doesn't matter because I took what he said to heart, and that is exactly what he was saying from the lessons he was teaching at the end there. Much Love for a7x and J especially for this one, thank you for helping me see that I can make it through this part of my life, I thought I would be dead by 28... But here I am 2 weeks from my 28th birthday and I feel like I should keep pushing to be that me and do that do that I was put here for... I hope I can keep those words close with me in all parts of life. Amazing podcast guys. Thanks!

I'm was raised by a single mother as well. Born in a little town, poor, but have always been a dreamer. I've been published all over the world. Here's to hoping I run into the right people one day. I'd love to meet and work with JJ.

So good to see M. Shadows on here. He’s so nice and respectful, but he looked so depressed during the whole video, not just in the thumbnail. I was expecting him to be more high-spirited. If I’m being honest, M.Shads is an amazing singer and somgwriter, and Johnny, you are such a personality and an awesome bassist.

When people hear word of NFT, they will think about the BAYC scene that flipped millions and a lot of greedy took these opportunities to steal hundreds of millions by using the name of NFT.
