For anyone who has or had a loved one who was diagnosed with the disease of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, also known as variant CJD, and having to watch them suffer so suddenly and brutally, that sh** is really crazy. I don’t know if you’ve done any of your own research… but it’s absolutely terrifying, and horrifyingly fascinating at the same time. A nightmare!! 😞

I didn't think it was illegal to actually eat a dead body even in Western society(as Dr Alpers stated). It's how people get the bodies they eat that is usually illegal, murder, theft of a body etc. I have always believed humans aren't meant to eat meat. We are built as herbivores, we don't have sharp canines as carnivores do. Since CJD was discovered I believed it justified my beliefs. Most people don't know that if we stopped eating cows there would be enough land to feed the world. Cows (for example) have to eat too. I'd love to know more about tribes that lived a 'stone age' existence who were then 'Westernised'. From the few I've seen on programmes, it seems the first thing they do is teach them about 'Christianity' and then stick up a set of goalposts and give them a football.

Biggest load of crap I’ve ever read. We were absolutely built to eat meat, we have the enzymes for it and don’t have key enzymes that many herbivores have, like cellulase, our jaws, despite what you say, are designed to eat flesh, we have sharp incisors and canines and we are not allergic to any meat. In addition to this, vegans/vegetarians are often at risk of things like anaemia because they can’t get all their nutrients from a plant based diet, B12, Essential Amino Acids, Iron etc. All evidence says we have been eating meat for thousands of years and our closest relative, the Chimpanzee is omnivorous.

@@TheMaster47x I can't argue with that. Not long after I wrote this I did learn that our teeth are considered to be those of an omnivore. I thought of carnivores as having fangs like dogs or cats, but I was shown a cows teeth and got the point. I was genuinely shocked to discover that chimpanzees actually hunt other monkeys and eat them. I should maybe Google the key facts to some of my theories before sharing them.

@@rexterrocks Lots of animals are actual omnivores; cows and horses will eat chicks and snakes if they aren't getting enough creatine or something. Chipmunks too!

"This guy" has a name and a title which he deserves to have acknowledged: he is an Australian Medical Researcher who has spent since the 1960's researching prion associated disease (kuru) in New Guinea natives of the Fore tribe. He was educated in Adelaide, South Australia and obtained his Master's from Cambridge. His work is extremely vital to understanding Kreuzfeld Jacobs encephalopathy which is associated with BSE and modern animal husbandry. He deserves a great deal of respect and should be highly honoured by everyone.
