This is the Sandvik CJ815 mass jaw crusher.Used in quarry and clinker primary crushers.
Filmed at CMS Quarries Sdn Bhd (Sibanyis Quarry) 15th Mile,Kuching-Serian road.This quarry produce aggregate DCR out of slate and flagstones.Quarry located in Sarawak,Malaysia.

Size of feed opening in inches? what is the capacity in tph? Nice looking primary station.What is solution for power failure and rock is stuck in between?

I guess maybe about 7 foot.If there's power failure, we had a backup generator and if there's rock stuck between the jaw pit, we'll put a big hook made of plate on the overhead crane installed at the top of the pit..then we try to hook the rock until it can fall and directly enter the jaw hole.

What are those hanging chains for?

Hello pal..the chains acts as a brake to reduce the motion of the falling rocks into the crusher in addition for safety.Besides that the chain also acts as a secondary hammer when the rocks hits the chain and break it into small pieces..
