Note: Blizzard Tempest used in the bossing examples has bind toggled on as my default. Another method is to toggle off Blizzard Tempest's bind and toggle on/off Burst Mode for Adrenaline Surge, depending on when you want to bind the boss. You can also add Erda Nova into the rotation. Aran is a very dynamic class with the flexibility in toggling, and you can even switch up the rotations between cycles. There is no one size fits all, so do play by ear! One example is that in order to prevent overkill/phasing in certain bosses eg. Kalos, I don't trigger Tempest for additional damage and instead use it for the next phase.
Btw for party bossing, arans have the option to turn off bind for our blizzard tempest (with attack + right click on the icon) and can be incorporated into our full burst too without double binding the boss
Hmm.. I went to look at my skill tab and I couldn’t find any toggle or anything, don’t think you can reverse it.. But on another note, I think the 6th job hunter’s prey is a great upgrade.
Generally, I feel that Aran isn’t really beginner friendly. It’s a bit difficult to play but tougher to master. For pre-New Age, Aran is much more complicated but now it is easier as we don’t have to chain as many command keys as we used to. Number of keys has also simplified as compared to when Aran was first released. If I compare present Aran vs Cadena/Blaster, I have the impression that Aran is easier now. Animation cancellation on Blaster is way harder to micromanage in bossing. It’s also more button-mashy than Aran currently. Unfortunately, I can’t speak much for Cadena as I don’t play that class.. but it does seem like you need quite some practice to get the air control right.
Hey bro! I main an Aran but I am not so clear about the On/Off difference as the skill does not describe that, some tips about that? (I mean the origin one)
When Burst Mode is on (with the M symbol), you instantly bind the boss upon pressing Adrenaline Surge the first time. When it is off (no M symbol), only the second time you press Adrenaline Surge then the boss gets binded. For different bosses, you can decide whether you want to bind immediately or after depending on your playstyle/rotations.
When you’re in adrenaline/adrenaline surge, wait till there’s a few seconds left then trigger blizzard and hunter’s prey (HP). Press adrenaline again then use HP immediately. Currently, our burst rotation doesn’t use this but seems like with the new HP core, we might be leaning to this rotation.
Oh darn this is quite cool dint know aran could double burst like that! I just got my origin today. Judging but rotation #1 does it mean that I can use Hunters prey once for part 1 of origin and second hunter's after origin cutscene? That's crazy

How do you make so many combos with Adrenaline surge? I only do 400 max
You can press and hold your attack key, you should be able to hit 1k combos easily. I hope I'm interpreting your question correctly!
How do you activate Hunter's so quick? Godamn I have sometimes so much trouble triggering it...
It's really just muscle memory, kinda like playing a piano to me. Keep practicing and you'll get better!
you can use the skill on keybind right now, you dont need to have muscle memory

can we still pop hunter's prey from instant adrenaline after using 2 hunters via origin ?
@@Nocturne779 Yep, that’s right. This is how we hit harder in sewers right now. You can use HP 4 times in sewers if you time everything properly.
How bad is to be an aran and not use the special inputs but just use the skills?
