They are colourful, highly intelligent and all have the ability to speak in the human language. In recent times, the destruction of their natural habitat of Central and South America for logging and mineral recovery has meant many species being pushed toward extinction.

Hi, thanks for the informative videos!
We recently brought a pair of blue fronted amazons. The seller told us they have had babies before, but we are starting to have our doubts. When we are present, the female attacks the male. He always stands away from her. If we reach out to touch him, she pounces on him. They dont prune each other or eat at the same time. The boy looks quite stressed. If we seperate them, he seems calmer. The female is also aggressive toward us.
In your experience, do you think these birds should be housed together? If we get them new partners, is it possible for them to bond with a new mate?
i wanna work in the incubation section. what age do these amazons start breeding?

23:15 If you drill holes and make sways, giving it grip for the parrot's feet not to slip or stand over a round surface, but rough scratched PVC material, wouldn't it be reasonable?
Wouldn't it be easier and better overall if you just cut down some perfect size branches off a tree yourself? Will most likely not cause any problem
