- Borat without a doubt is probably the most we laughed at a comedy movie on the channel, just the amount of crazy hilarious stuff that happens is beyond unreal!

You gotta appreciate just how hard it is to play a character like this in real life situations and making it work
Yeah, Pamela Anderson was one of the few people in the movie who were in on the joke. The frat boys in the RV even sued him because "he made them look bad."
Which, in the context of this movie, was rather strange. Compared to most of the others, they came off pretty well.
Pamela and the prostitute. That's it.
@@windsaw151 wft? Yea, compared to hitler they come of pretty well.
@@windsaw151 in what universe is that true lmao
Those racist idiots got kicked out of their frat and college I heard.
He has two modes in this:
1. Borat is the worst person in the room. In these cases he pushes to see how far he can take his bit, how uncomfortable he can make otherwise kind or at least reasonable people
2. Borat encounters someone worse than him. I.e the guy at the rodeo or the frat guys. In this case he goes quiet. He lets them bury themselves by staying out of their way and at most giving a line or action to encourage their honesty.
Sacha Baron Cohen is great at reading people and reacting to really diverse personalities. Truly one of a kind
I don't blame the guys at the rodeo so much because he literally threatened to wipe out all life in the western US.
they were clapping and cheering when he talked about drinking childrens blood and so on... but he wasn't talking about american children, so it doesn't matter i guess@@LadyIarConnacht
To be honest the frat guys Were very wholesome. Yeah they said rude shit but they were hugging him and saying he could make it and whatnot.
@@LadyIarConnacht For something to be a threat, it has to be at least within the realm of possibility for it to be carried out...
@@Andreas-pj6np tbf, most ppl dont really care or listen (especially Americans listening to someone who isnt american himself D:), and just wait for the pause so they can clap or whatever... obviously some do ofc, but the general audience, not so much. they probably couldnt even get past the accent D: no offense, its just the american stereotype... which is also one of the reasons he did this in america, and not somewhere in europe. :)
I'm Jewish. The first time I saw this movie I laughed so hard I almost couldn't breathe!
When you said I laughed so hard I almost I thought you was going to say i almost became a Baptist lol 😆
Same, and I speak Hebrew fluently so the fact that Borat is speaking in mostly correct Hebrew the whole time…I was dead 😂😂😂😂
@@thefourshowflip That makes it even more hilarious. Thanks for posting that.
@@thefourshowflip Sasha Baron Cohen is Jewish, so may know Hebrew
@@eezablade
I don’t know the extent of his fluency but from what I’ve seen of him speaking it, he seems to at least be able to speak Hebrew “conversationally”.
Part of the reason Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock got divorced was because of her role in this movie. And yes, she was in on the joke. I don’t think security knew what was happening though.
Multiple arrest warrants were issued for “Borat” and members of the crew in multiple states, if I remember right. And the NYPD outright told them to leave New York.
Other than like 6 or 7 actors, including Borat, the producer, the hooker/wife, and Pamela Anderson, this entire movie was filmed without anyone knowing they were being filmed for a movie.
Pam's security knew too. That's why it took so long for them to respond (and why Sasha wasn't shot) And the others clearly knew they were being filmed but they were told it was for a documentary to be shown in Kazakstan. They all signed waivers but clearly didn't read the fine print.
@garyglaser4998 actually if you watch behind the scenes footage, Pam's security didn't know at first what was supposed to be going on, and they didn't even stop him! He actually got a bag over her and everything, Sacha Baron Cohen actually had to stop the scene and re-do it because no one, not even security, was stopping him lol.
Then they re-did the scene with Security knowing their roles and put that one in the movie
@@KrazzeeKaneYou gotta be kidding!!!......
My favourite line in the entire movie is probably when Borat releases the chicken. "Go! Live your life!"
The delivery is A+
“Bruno” is the logical next movie. *Not a spoiler* but “Bruno” doubles down on his dedication to staying in character in possibly dangerous situations.
No Ali G then Bruno b
I'd say skip Bruno...for obvious reasons
@@funtourhawk why?
@@ChrisXIllustratesXGaming because he doesn’t wanna see a knob saying “BRUNO” 💀
Bruno is funny af
I’ve never laughed so hard in a theater as I did with Borat.😅😅😅
I had to buy extra tickets to watch this movie three times at the movies because I was laughing so hard I kept missing jokes.
Borat and Friday were my top 2 funniest movie experiences. Both times I fell out of my seat laughing so hard.
First saw it when I was 15, first movie I ever saw in the theaters twice.
Borat's definitely up there but I'll say it's Freddy got Fingered for me. Everyone who didn't leave the theater in disgust was just laughing their asses off the whole time.
Yeah... saw this in opening week as well with 300 others.. that was just insane laugh fest 🤣
Sacha said they had to plan escape routes. Many times they had to run away from crowds wanting to beat them up. 😂😂😂😂
Similar to our friend Mr. Jesus
“Her vagine hangs like sleeve of wizard” was one the funniest things I had ever heard when this came out haha
_"...and then make romance explosion on her stomutch."_
Sasha "broke the rules" and changed the world.😆
This man forever has my respect.
It's always funny how defensive and threatened those grown men are by cheek kisses, they wouldn't last a day in Italy.
Most people don’t want a man kissing them period
@@gtmo55mack20
Not really, in Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, the Mediterranean, parts of Asia etc. everyone does it. Just because you don’t do it doesn’t make it weird.
@@gtmo55mack20I always find it funny how many straight American men feel "threatened" by a cheek kiss - or by actual gays in general
@@Elis_Nordgall don’t defend it you are weird

Aw damn, y'all edited out the entire nude fight scene. Surprised you still survived it and didn't die of laughter 😂
That scene always makes me wish i were a voting member of the Academy Awards.
ye lol wtf
Yeah I loved that scene. And they blocked out his dick with a huge black rectangle to block it out.... I laughed so hard at that.
Seriously. Edited out the best scene in the movie
@@bobandy13 Well they cant exactly show it
The brilliance is that he IS as offensive as he is but in a subtle enough way that poeple actually believe that he just doesnt know any better, which is why so few people actually flip out on him.
Its actually really impressive.
In an interview, he said he couldn't push it nearly as hard with the British episodes of Ali G but he found in America people would tolerate it for a long time and then just snap. Interesting videos for a sociology class to study.
Fun fact. There was an Olympic shooting contest in Kuwait and someone from Kazakhstan won. When you win a medal they play your anthem. They downloaded the Borat anthem from the internet and played it for her. You should look it up it's on youtube.
I never knew this, so I just checked it out. I got to give it to that gold medalist. She still stood proud, hand on heart as the anthem was played the whole way through. 😂

interviews with Sacha he explains with his characters many times he was actually in fear for his life, you wonder how he gets out of situations? he runs! he hides! because a lot of people don't believe it's an act. he has also done different series of interviews, it's amazing the responses he gets from prominent people in positions of power, it is disturbing but yet funny. my fave Sacha film is 'The Dictator' from 2012..a totally scripted film for a change and it is HILARIOUS!!
Dictator has the girl from Scary Movie in it
Best line of this movie,
"Go! go live your own life!"
After being abandoned in L.A., that chicken went on to star in many family guy episodes, not to mention moana. He was found dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head at his rented apartment on north indiana st, east l.a..rip Yuri the chicken.
For some reason the moment that always gets me is when he's pissed and throws his suitcase and we hear the chicken.
The craziest thing about this film is the fact that the 'frat bro camper' scene is actually real. People like that exist, I met several guys like that in college.
They tried to sue because the film made them look bad but if you look very closely and listen intently you can just see that they’re awful people and they can’t take responsibility for their own actions and words
@@ZenzeroCAM There was a time that we all understood frat boys say stupid shit and they are worse in numbers.
Most men are like that, especially while drunk. It wasn't even controversial when the movie came out, but in the emasculated society we live in, they essentially committed deadly sins.
@@bajskuk Are you insane? Most men are NOT like that... Most men do not believe in raping and taking women as sex slaves...
well if that's supposed to be normal behavior than we should be happy the world moved forward shouldn't we?@@bajskuk
Your reaction to this movie is what I think Sasha Cohen was exactly going for a when he made it. Watching you guys react to it was even better than watching this movie in theaters when it came out.
The "what's up with it Vanillaface?" had me rollin'. 🤣
5:22 chicken wrangling is an art😂
I still remember the time I ended up having to corral all 15 of my chickens because one of the calves opened the chicken coop gate. Walked outside to see him chillin in the outside section of the coop, and the chickens all roaming around in the pasture. Meanwhile, the calf’s mom was anxious and yelling at him. And one of the barn cats was just hanging out on the roof of the coop, enjoying the show. Farm life can be quite comical 😂🤣
A dipping net is your best friend when it comes to birds, especially aggressive roosters with spurs. I have several turkeys, chickens, and quail, they won't come anywhere near you once they see that net. Makes them much easier to catch and prevent them from getting out or messing with you.
14:08 that horse got scared by the pissed off crowd.
Fantastic reaction btw. Sometimes I can't tell if someone is actually, genuinely reacting to something they never saw before, but it was pretty obvious here. I laughed my ass off just like you guys when I watched this for the first time. (basically two decades ago... when did this come out again? Yeah anyway, exactly then!)
The actors are actually Jewish btw and the foreign language they're speaking throughout the movie is Hebrew.
Also whoever the guy to the right is, you SO nailed it with the accent when you were doing your commentary after the movie. Love it!
You guys couldn’t have picked better movie to react on my birthday! Love your guys’ content!
In his latest Borat sequel, Cohen had to disquise himself further because so many were lookin for him to punk them out.
It just shows how many Americans live under a rock that they didn't recognize him immediately. The guy was everywhere in the late 2000s.
This came out around the time Casino Royale did, my dad took my to see Casino but we got to the theater early and snuck into this movie, we came in during the hotel fight and idk if I've ever heard my dad laugh that hard in his life 😂 amazing movie!
I'm Jewish, like Sacha Baron Cohen, and I was crying with laughter all through the film! The naked fight with his assistant - I totally lost it! The sweet Jewish couple were just lovely, but the way it dawns on him where he is just killed me! I was in pain from laughing! If you have the DVD extras, have a look at 'Sexy Drown Watch', his take on 'Baywatch' - that made me hurt too!
Crazy fact: Way back in 2012, there was a sporting competition in Kuwait where one athlete from Kazakhstan won a gold metal. She was standing on stage and they were supposed to play the REAL anthem of her country, but whoever's in charge of the music, accidentaly played BORAT'S version, "O Kazakhstan" instead, in front of everyone!
Always cracks me up to think about the RV guys suing him and the movie studio relentlessly for years haha
Did they? Where did you see it?
@@Gaia369 Just type any combination of the words Borat, Lawsuit, Sued and Frat-boys. There are plenty of articles, some include details of the other lawsuits filed against Sacha and the Studio.
I remember that as well.
Sacha Baron Cohan is just brilliant and what makes it even funnier his actually Jewish himself 😂 all his stuff is great highly recommend more Sacha stuff like. (Da Ali G Show) (Bruno movie) (Borat2) and lots more
If you think the Borat character was wild, Bruno doubles, if not triples down
Fun Fact: The scene with Pamela Anderson had to be filmed twice, with different people because on the first try nobody jumped to save her.
Also, the fact that a lot of the people didn't know Borat was just a character and that a lot of people in this movie tried to sue Sacha Baron Cohen after it came out was hilarious.
Americans are very litigious.
@@christhornycroft3686 *Greedy and obsessed with success/money/power taking juridical acton is the fastest way. It's the complete opposite of my peoples general mindset. (We got some big issues too like everyone else)
But it's terrible to see. Especially since so much success is built on corruption and shortcuts, since it affects the chances and motivations for doing just that. It's like youtube and all the =O faces in thumbnails. It's dumb, most people despise it, they don't want to do it, but it sells. Because that's how it works. It extra sucks that the internet adopted that too.
What? Nobody tried to help her? I'm a middle-aged woman and if I had been there, I would have tried to help her!
The producer he tricked into booking him on the local news show was mad she got fired.
The elderly couple were mad because he made it seem like they had roaches in their house.
The frat guys on the bus were mad because they looked like racists and misogynists.
Kid Rock was mad because he's an idiot.
@@DR-mq1vn it's commieforia
That scene on the subway was in NYC. I can say as a native new yorker, that the reactions of those two guys were totally normal. Legit not joking, you don't get that close to us.
Boykisser alert
Pamela Anderson knew about Borat, but the security weren't in on it and treated him with no special treatment
Just makes it look even more awesome!!🙂🙂.....
I recently rewatched this thinking it would age poorly and not be as funny. Nope, I still laughed just as hard.
I saw this movie in the theaters and I never heard an audience laugh the way they did during the hotel chase scene. I think that may have been one of the all time great comedy bits. It was horrifying and absolutely hilarious at the same time.
The reason it's so funny and so utterly frightening is that everyone but Anderson had no idea it was a gag! You guys should check out Bruno also if you want real gasp factor!
19:50 everytime I rewatch this I catch something I missed that’s so freaking hilarious. It’s really something that he gets legit drunk and maintains character.
He out drinks those frat boys easily
I love this reaction so much--watching this movie your reaction really does go between hysterically laughing and absolutely cringing....
The driving school in the film was my local driving school in Perry Hall Maryland🤣 (not here anymore, sold sometime after 2014)
They had pictures with the actor playing Borat hung in the building lol
Yes, Pam Anderson was in on it.
And the scene upset then-husband Kid Rock so much that it contributed to their divorce. So...win-win for her!
LOL. You were both looking down when he threw the sack over Pamela's head! 😆
Wow no shit 😔😔😔.....
This has to be secured in history's archives as literally one of the funniest movies ever made. To watch this movie and not laugh means you are ironically inhuman.
Watched this a kid and remember thinking that this place is wild. It was so bizarre. Then I grew up and I learned so much more, not much changed.
Sacha Baron Cohen uses his comedy to highlight political wrongs in the world. Something that flies over most peoples' heads
@@Sweetback127Here Not really. I was a kid. It’s extremely obvious what he is doing… the vast majority knows exactly what he his doing.
Awesome Movie and Work Brothers, Thaaaaanks!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍😀 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Great Reaction, Vanilla Faces! Looking forward to the subsequent film.
I've never enjoyed being peer pressured into subscribing this much. You got me
I am so heartened that you guys don't know that church stuff was real. it means not everyone in the US is crazy! Baron Cohen is so good at outing the worst types of person. It is also pretty good that he shows the people who react well also.
The producer he tricked into booking him on the local news show got fired.
Oh, that's awful.
Actually… I think that person knew it was their last day and that was a “going away present” for management who had no idea it was a joke. I remembered watching the local news that day and I could not believe my eyes. I could not stop laughing . Brad did a great job but the look when he realizes he’s lost control of this situation was priceless. Of course most of the people in this movie sued Sasha after the movie came out. They really did take up a collection to help get Borats van fixed . That weather guy recently told a story of how a royalty check still shows up on occasion from Sasha so I thought that was cool. Great movie . 🎥🎞
Such a great satire. A sharp weapon against so many wrongs.
Unfortunately it’s lost on most folk
This movie was the first Oscar nomination for Sacha Baron Cohen, Anthony Hines, Peter Baynham, AND, of all people, Todd Phillips (of Hangover and Joker fame) for Best Adapted Screenplay. This was WILD man. 😂😂😂
Great video and your reaction to the movie Borat. I also watched Borat and I didn't stop launghing. When I see your reaction, I don't stop launghing. Greetings from Croatia.
I saw this in the movie theater. Everybody in there was laughing non stop.
Love your guys' reactions
Would have loved to see their reaction of the nude wrestling scene.
VERY NICE!
Laughed through the whole intro! Dang, you got me. 😆😆🤣😂😹
I could not concentrate what this old man was saying 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If I'm ever grumpy, I watch you laughing and all is good
at around; by 21:30...u bleeped out the naked fight lololol
I had a blast watching you two crying in laughter watching this gem. I was literally crying during the dinner party scene. You two should have reacted to the Hooeylewis junk out with Borat giving the thumbs up photo 🤣
I worked with a kid from Kazakhstan and he thought this was the funniest movie ever and knew every part by heart..."Do not shrink me gypsy!!"
Another great reaction video, thank you. Brüno is even funnier. I didn't believe it could be funnier than Borat until I saw it, but it is, so I hope it's on your list, too.
Ali g is better than borat
@@RocketRoketto Da Ali G Show is the funniest thing Sacha Baron Cohen has ever done.
Borat was one of the greatest theatrical experiences I’ve ever had. It was a packed house and absolutely hilarious. It’s one of the funniest movies of all time. Period!
I never laughed so hard in my life when I saw 1st this in theaters. I was in junior high, then somehow AMC let me see it. Thank you to the coolest movie attendant that let me see it. The auditorium was packed, and all of us laughed out loud. Best night of my life! I couldn't wait for the dvd. I was the 1st in our school to see it. I was more cooler because most of the school would rather watch high school musical. Ironically, it was a ghetto school. A real hellhole and I manage to survive.
PLEASE please watch "Bruno" 🙏🏻 Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius actor, like it goes beyond comedy to performance art, and the way he uses it to peel back the layers of society is incredible.
The Pamela stunt was done twice, the 1st time no one reacted, so they did it at the signing she was doing and obvi got the reaction he wanted😂😂😂
The funniest part of the whole Borat series is that a lot of people didn't understand it was essentially making fun of the conservative view, and would deny it, until the sequel came out and they went, "oh... then I don't like it anymore!" xD The lack of self awareness is hilarious.
You must be fun at Thanksgiving 😁
@@kevinbrooks9074 We literally watched it at Thanksgiving xD It was hilarious to see Borat highlighting the conservative fails again! My uncle almost stopped breathing at the clinic with the Christian dude telling her to keep her father's baby!
He exposes people's true identity and the funniest thing about it all is that he is Jewish. He speaks fluent Hebrew as well, he spoke Hebrew to Azamat the entire time. He makes fun of everyone and everything, and he doesn't hold back.
15:16 your reaction to his gangster hanging pants and vanilla face 💀💀 chris has an esecailly infectious laugh you guys are my fave reactors
Love your guys reactions ALWAYS!!!! Chris you were "spot on" about religion in your comments!!!! I used to go to a church(Christian/Pentecostal) that acted that way!!! Dancing, jumping and running around, the sounds...acting crazy and outrageous. So that is very real...
Thank you for the message; though unfortunately I have no way to text that I know of. I don't carry a cellphone and just have a tablet)))).....
Sacha is actually a super observant jew. Which makes this even funnier
Best reaction I've seen in a while 🤣
I first watched this with my aunt and uncle, my aunt is a super uptight German and my uncle is a over-the-top flamboyant Dominican. My aunt was mortified but my uncle and I laughedSo hard he constantly would say that’s how it is in other parts of the world speaking of how Borat would act and what he would do
19:55 that laugh lmao
I can only remember laughing that much in theaters for 2 movies: Borat and The Hangover. People were almost suffocating it was crazy 😂
Maaan I was thinking the same thing. Borat was amazing but the crowd experience for The Hangover was incredible. Every single line LMAO
Probably the best reaction to this movie. Funniest comedy of all time!
Sacha Baron Cohen is a master Satirist and a genius! Yes, Pamela Anderson was one of a couple of people who were in on the film. Sacha has won so many serious awards and accolades. Just last year, he was short-listed as one of 6 nominees for the Genesis Prize, also known as the Jewish Nobel Prize. Baron Cohen is Jewish and speaks fluent Hebrew.
