Thanks bro - things required, general common sense safety practices, car maintenance oil change level experience and 7 qt drain pan, 10 mm allen socket and 3/8” ratchet, 2 qt valvoline transfer case fluid or (AC Delco auto-trak ii), Quart screw on lid type transfer pump or Self Priming Transfer Pump for Drill
That needed a fluid change for sure! holy! I see Valvoline has plastic pouches for diff fluid. Wonder if they will make them for transfer case fluid as well.
in my 07 the Fill plug is so close to the gas tank you can't get a socket on the end on my 10mm Alan, so I had to use a crescent on the Alan. My 02 Envoy had plenty of room, like your video. I don't recommend anything but the Blue Auto Trak II fluid.
I filled mine until it started to dribble out the fill hole, it seemed like it may have been a few ounces than 2 quarts, do you suppose that is OK? I did this because a couple of times the fill hose slipped off the pump and I lost a bit of fluid. I know over filling engine oil and brake fluid can be harmful but figured that the engineers would have placed the fill hole in the ‘right’ spot so that you couldn’t overfill, do you agree?
ASMR for car guys right here 😂 love the sound of a ratchet turning
Thanks bro -

I need to do more how to videos, but most stuff I do is modifications instead of maintenance, lol.

Yeah it was a little nasty haha

Honestly, that's the best way to do it!
How much fluid did you use? Or what’s the capacity for the transfer case?
Two quarts is all you need, and you will use all of it too.
What year is your trailblazer?
2002
Looked like dirty engine oil. That _might_ have been the second time it's been changed. :D
Key word, might, haha.
@@MurphRocks86 lol exactly.
You use a wrong fluid for teje transfer muy be a “”Blue Colour “
It's the correct specification fluid, just different brand, different dye being used.
