It is of course a shame that such an easily targettable village was burned to the ground, but at least there are more. End of Log 75.

I must applaud Fred for all the effort and research he puts into his videos. From his movie role plays to even getting details such as names of historical, cultural and scientific details right. I’ve got to say Fred, you’re probably my favorite ASMRtist yet.

The only time such harsh taxation was involved, was during war time, or if your liege was just a piece of shit.

Hamonuku Sama it is accurate in the sense that things like this did in fact happen but it hardly happened all of the time, think about it, the nobility and royalty NEEDED the people below them because they were the backbone of the economy even if a number of them had a disdain for the lower classes most had enough sense to know this.
It was in their best interests that the peasants were productive, you can’t get any long term gains from a peasant that was dead or had literally nothing left. The only time such harsh taxation was involved, was during war time, or if your liege was just a piece of shit.
With the vikings you would just get the same treatment except they kill you after. I don't see your point.
