@@Kaley-cg2qd He's going to love living in LA making 3.5M a year. Dude could even live at the beach if he wants to so at least he's going to be happy. I'm an LA native who hates the Kings so it's going to be very strange actually liking one of them. lol
Two beauties, Foegzzz is a classic and Rico played well, gets the chance and finishes it !! Really hope both are back !! Great to hear how much they love it !!! Best fans, great guys, talents, building etc !!! Great feedback !!!
Foegele has come such along way always a big fan has always has the speed and found a way work on play and put the puck in the net! Hope he is in Edmontons future. Henrique is a gem does everything wins face offs kills Penalties and has the touch to score big goals. Hopefully both these two will be back next season!!
Hard to imagine being able to keep both of these guys with our cap situation. Both Rico and Foegs gave everything they had, and contributed greatly to our depth all playoffs long. Foegs had issues with puck control and giveaways at times, but he’s an excellent skater than can shoot the puck well and works hard. Rico is a step behind what he used to be skating wise, but he’s a high IQ player that can also still score, still a good passer, and is a solid two-way player. Both made impacts in this cup run, and both won’t be easy to replace. Thanks for the year 🙏
I hope they can stay, they truly helped the team in a big way, they still make a lot of money more then average person makes but i guess being a big league player it might matter
I know it's nearly impossible with a salary cap driven market. But just imagine the whole team retains at least 90% of the players. They can definitely go on another scorching run to a SC Final and win it.
Would love it if they both stayed but it’s not going to happen unless they take significant discounts. At least not if the Oil want to sign Drai, Connor, Bouch in the coming years
We tolerated at best his horrid reg season for big money, I’m not thinking all of a sudden he is the next big deal, management can figure out a fair deal, his injury is over but that was a rough, ugly, reg season, I’m not all hyped on some pk goals for some big contract, fair deal cool , no 4 million nonsense
Foegele made some mistakes, but ya, he worked his ass off, the speed, some great goals, gotta keep Foegele. I hope he wants to stay. Rico stays for sure.
Bettman 31 Canada ZERO. He has been preventing Canada from winning since 94. NOT a "conspiracy" . No one can convince me that in 31 years no Canadian team was "good enough to win" and more suspiciously no 2 Canadian teams were good enough to meet in the finals. The first thing he did was prevent Vancouver from winning in 94 (after he moved the NHL head office from Toronto to New York). He has been doing it ever since - allowing a team to periodically go to the finals and even game 7 but always prevents the Canadian team from winning. He does this with the "help" of the referees who are told to call extra penalties against Canada and less against the other team. In game 7 of this year within 3 minutes of the start a bogus call against the Oilers which gave Florida a goal. If the Oilers would have scored more there would have been more penalties called against them and fewer against Florida. People saying the Oilers were not "aggressive enough" are wrong because if they were the refs would have called even more penalties against them. A no win situation. He is all about helping the American teams thrive and will do everything to ensure the cup stays in America. He is salivating at the eventual move of McDavid, Draisaitl, Matthews and others to US teams because they will know they can never win a cup playing for a Canadian team. Now that he has promised the owner in Phoenix that they will have another team it should work out that at least one of those players I mentioned will end up signing there which would instantly help that Phoenix team. So corrupt. He hates the Canadian teams but loves their money and stretching out the series to game 7 brought him millions more. It is especially sad that the two most expensive season tickets are in Edmonton and Toronto but neither of which will ever win again. Edmonton is lucky that he took over in 94 instead of 84 because if he did the Oilers would never have won even 1 cup. "Captain America" - Gary Bettman.
Dude it’s over move on these guys played their asses off you make it sound like it’s easy the NHL is the hardest game to play. Instead of being mad be happy be happy they got there be happy they want to come back and play hard again.
I truly hope they can both stay. This was an amazing year to be an Oilers fan because this team is something special.
seeing this after foeg is gone is so sad

Henrique was stellar with Brown and Janmark. Foegele is such a great piece: McDavid lite. Man, I love this team

I get good vibes from Rico he wants to be back
Oh after this..i want Rico back so bad...a phenomenal smart player!
You cant tell Foegele wants to play here and hopes he gets signed. Love you Foeggy❤
Love both of them. Once an Oiler always an Oiler. They have my best wishes no matter where they end up. Hope they stay.
I’ve seen Adam Henrique, walking past me I said “ adamm “ it was amazing seeing him !
That’s all you gotta do bro. Don’t be like those fans when Davo was picking up the beer for the boys. that was embarrassing
@@3k461ya fr I was to shy to ask for a photo I’m not like those touchy fans lmao!
Would love it if both stay at Edmonton! We go again next season! LFG Oilers!
Anything over 3.75 foegele can walk
These guys really want to be here. I don't know how but I hope the Oilers will find a way to keep their character players.
Reading the body language, Henrique signs a team friendly deal & Foegele chases $$$
That's what I totally read. Foegle is still so young, just ready to get married.
Bang on
ones 34 the others 28...
I gotta say I thought the opposite but I guess I was completely wrong. Sick read bud.

Foegele had a good run, but it looks it’s mutual that both sides are ok with moving on

sounds like foege is trying to sell himself

Foelgle is gone hopefully he gets a good deal

Keeping Henrique, letting Foegele walk and maybe signing Jake DeBrusk
League min for everyone on the team except for Connor brown

Anything over 2.75 for 37 I don’t want him
Foegele is pitching himself to other teams. Bottom six grinder his whole career averaged 20 points a season up until this year

What’s the point in these interviews now? To hear how few of them managed to get a shot on target in the most important game of their lives?
How many shots did you take?
@@jonah.donohue
Guys like this get here because they never took a shot themselves. It's why they think it's easy.
I took approximately 6 shots of bourbon after seeing how dismal most of the Oilers were in that final
No, it's to give whiners a fresh platform to cry on and you've stepped up and done a great job.

Henrique is a bum. Best years behind him. Offer no more than $2 mill
