My coming out was so much the same as both of you. When I was 16 my mother asked me if my best friend was my boyfriend at breakfast. I looked at her and "No, he is my best friend...I'll tell you if I have a boyfriend", and stormed out of the room. That's when I realized that my parents knew, and my father had the "safe sex" with me. So I can say, my parents dragged me out of the closet. BTW, this was in the early 1980's.
I adore you two. And what is so beautiful about your relationship is that we can see that this is a forever kind of love. Two souls that were meant to be together found each other. So glad that both of your families are so good to you guys. You're a cute couple and it's great that you share your stories and speak on these things. 💖
The Happiest of Anniversaries to you both. Believe it or not, it truly will go from Grrrrrrrreat to (jumping-on-Oprah's-sofa-I-love-katie-holmes"-great because you two have the stuff. Tiniest of suggestions Ian: When you aren't sure, just say it. "Adieu" is French for "good-bye", so: "Without further goodbye"? Or is it more logical to exclaim "without further ado!", as in "Much ado (fanfare) about nothing. Thank you for sharing. David
LETS JUST APPRECIATE THE EDITING.

I am omni, I came out in I believe 6th grade, I was sitting at the dinner table in tears about something my girlfriend had said, my parents kept asking what was wrong and I would not tell them , so they told me to go write it down, so I did, the note didn't say I had a girlfriend it just said, "I like women and men, I have known this since 3rd grade, please support me" (at the time I thought I was bisexual) my parents were like," we fully support you, just be careful who you tell, not everyone is going to be as supportive" ❤❤
