Aww. Did you 2 star someones IV matrix 2h mace? This is my single gripe with the new work order system. You can set quality minimum for personal and guild orders... so you SHOULD be able to publicly (so you don't have to be in a bustling guild, watch and ping trade chat for hours, or scour the forums for people who are high level crafters). Other than that, the work order system is brilliant. And the in depth Profession specs are awesome. I just wish I could post an order publicly requesting whichever quality I want. Sure if it sits there for 2 days without anyone coming along, fine. At least then, the work order sitting up can be 'scouting' for a capable crafter, rather than ME myself wasting hours in town, or outright going outside of the game altogether. Sorry for the small rant :). Really good video! I actually learned a good bit of insight here as to possible avenues to take. Cheers. Afterthought when looking back on the mace for a second, you can't even use 'finishing reagents' on a public order... I'm not sure if you can with personal or guild, but I do know you can fill with your own mats on those... so I'm assuming you can. Wouldn't finishing reagents help your chance of hitting higher quality? If so, that's another issue. I would have no issue as a customer, buying finishing reagents to add to my work order.
Haha dang to be honest I just took what I could with that one particular Order cause like no one was posting. Hopefully that person didn't mind the quality too much (oops) as this was during the first few days after launch. And I do think a crafter can use finishing reagents; they just need to have the spec node unlocked, which I didn't as I'd just put enough bare minimum points in to fulfill that one order. Anyhow what you pointed out about minimum requirements is a great point! I do hope to see more people starting to utilize public orders 😳 And thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked the video.
I'll admit, your own personal build just doesn't seem to work on my server. At least in regards to blacksmithing. For the longest time there was nothing but orders for the rare profession tools, which I just didn't have the renown to have unlocked yet. Now it seems like the only orders I see are for either PvP gear, which has a ludicrous markup, or they have been putting orders in for patterns which drop out of the raid. Maybe part of it is my choice of specialization, but I would've thought I'd have enough covered. I've got epic axes, hammers and at least one caster weapon but none of it matters. It COULD be people are just waiting to use their sparks in general, or are waiting for the 2nd one once the season hits but I'm not entirely sure. I'll also say, for the few times I did snag some orders it was not by randomly stopping by to check. You have to sit there and refresh, otherwise they get snatched up.
I've also noted, a lot of people are having problems with these cooldown items. Where the final result, is worth far less than the materials used to create it.
So far this seems to be the case 🥲 on my server, there are very few public crafting orders around. I've sort of pivoted as a result though, to selling boes and likely will do commodities (like enchants and gems)
I'm making quite a bit of gold even through trainer-learned recipes (including BoE blues and greens), as well as Crimson Combatant's gear (recipes one can pick up from the AH)

What is the cooldown on the chromobolt and when you're fully specced?
for Cooldown-based alt, is better alchemy and jc? or lachemy and tailoring? or jc and tailoring?
I think alch tailoring is probably the best, unless you want to also spec into cutting gems (which wouldn't be so cool down based anymore)

How did you get 394 sparks of ingenuity??;
I don't! It might be a visual bug?
No, with the renown level needed to unlock recipes, you are not crafting with alts. Gathering, racing world quests sure
