Beautiful stuff. Love it. You are a great player with perfect technique. No finger sliding that creates a scratching sound...very clean. I think finger sliding is just laziness and is hard to listen to and distracting after a while. I listened to the full 3 hours. Smooth, relaxing, beautiful playing.
Thanks Eric, Yes, I work hard to avoid those finger slides and other unpleasant finger sounds. Recording the guitar is difficult but it is rewarding when the recordings turn out well. I feel like I'm constantly learning about recording guitar. Thanks a lot for listening!

Thankyou my brother. You are certainly an anointed minstrel of the Lord. Your musical ability is breathtaking. I pray read the word and prepare sermons with your constantly playing in the background and I use your 8 hours of hymns with lyrics to sing along and worship the Lord. I find having your music on in the background so much better than having classical music playing because the difference with your music is with you it is not just a performance you are actually worshiping God and that comes across so clearly. Thankyou for enriching and blessing my life through your ministry. One final question. Is there anything you can't play Josh ? !!!
Hi Paul, Thank for your kind words and your service to the Kingdom of God. I'm glad that you are blessed by my music. To answer your question, I do have many limitations as a guitarist but I have learned to make the guitar "sing" so that it conveys a heart of worship. I think the whole thing is empowered by the Holy Spirit. I am weak but He is strong and in my weakness as a musician, God works to touch hearts. I'm blessed to be a part of it. I look forward to the day when we all worship Him face to face and we won't have to deal with musical limitations!

Fantastic interpretations of these songs. I've been wanting to do my own instrumental versions of worship songs as well. It seems a bit of a mystery as to how to do this without copyright infringement. I've heard about a mechanics license and things, but it seems like a guarded secret or something as to how to do that. Can you explain how you go about legally recording these modern songs that are not old enough for free fair use? Thank you and again, great job!
