@@in2mindmedia Haven't had the chance to test this widget, thanks for the heads up. I was impressed that elementor has this option to begin with - not many website builders have them I believe.
I have been using DIVI for over a decade now and this was the main reason I ditched my DIVi licence and have purchased Elementor Pro. As an animators and web designer, I am going to have a ball with this! Thank you so much!
beautiful function and involving effects but how much will it affect the performance of the site already affected by a high presence of calls caused by the activation of many widgets that are often not used?
Lottie animation is not showing on the live website pages, but on elementor wordpress dash board it is working fine, kindly suggest what can be done to overcome this situation where Lottie animation in not at all displayed on the live website. Thanks
Hi Luciano - I found that Lottie upload didn't work because it was blocked by a plug in - Media Library Assistant. I contacted the MLA developer who gave me the code to include JSON and now it works great.
Is there an option to add a setting similar to "On Hover Out" but for On Click? Being able to have the animation reverse on click would be very useful for custom menus and/or elements.
Loottie causes massive layout shifts. How to fix that? THat is most important. If you add a lottie at the beginning of the website, when it loads it moves everything up. That's a nono
Well done! Is it possible to make the lottie file sticky as well with a scroll based animation based on the sourrounding elment ? That would be really lovely!
Hi Guys, I have used animetor previously and lottie animation was working fine, and have now updated elementor to latest version and using the Lottie widget. I have an issue where the lottie is not looping completely. It stops prematurely and then loops, which makes the whole animation not long constant. This has happened on 2 websites now. Any known issues here? Solutions?
Ok. I'm trying to find a solution to this (although I'm not sure there's a way to do it). Let's say you have a lottie animation in the hero section that is triggered on scroll and you want to fix the whole section on top until the animation finishes. When it gets to the last frame, the page scrolls down normally. If anyone has any idea how to do that, please let me know (even if it can't be done with Elementor and it needs some coding).
Hey Serghey, have you joined the Elementor Community? It's a great place to ask questions like this, and get solid advice from other web creators. And you can share screenshots and links there as well: facebook.com/groups/Elementors.
Have you found a solution? The only thing I've found is a third-party plugin called ScrollSequence and it works with video. Once the video reaches its last frame, then you continue scrolling down to the next section.
I want to use a couple of animated Lottie animations (JSON files) in a slider. Unfortunately all slider modules (I’m using WordPress with Elementor) only accept real photo or video files from the media library. Any ideas?
I was looking for this too. How do you do the full page scrolling ballerina example you used on your site. Is that just a huge image that is timed perfectly?
How do I change the trigger according to the version displayed ? I want to trigger the animation on hover when on desktop but on viewport when I'm on mobile. Thanks
This is exactly what ive been looking for!! Thank you so much for the the tutorial. Question: Is there an alternative to add images, i dont know how to create JSON files🫣
You can not use Lottie as a background image, but you can set the Z index, and use custom positioning so that will appear behind other elements. th-cam.com/video/vJ851SD-6u0/w-d-xo.html elementor.com/help/how-to-use-z-index-in-elementor
that's pretty cool, a lot of work must have gone into it, maybe spare 1% of that work to give the Basic Gallery widget a size option ? or is it called 'basic' because it's no better than the default WordPress gallery widget ?
Hi Ka. I found that Lottie upload didn't work because it was blocked by a plug in - Media Library Assistant. I contacted the MLA developer who gave me the code to include JSON and now it works great.
It's disappointing to see that your video tutorials are outdated. As a user of Elementor, I expect video content that aligns with the current platform version. Please consider updating your video library to provide accurate and relevant information.
It seems to me that many at Elementor (as well as many web site builders ) have forgotten about the web site visitor/user and are thinking more about cool and flashy design things. Animations rarely bring any benefits to the site visitors. In general they are just distracting and annoying (including parallax effects, sliding and zooming images, fonts changing of roll-over... etc etc). Simpler is better. Static is better than moving. I wouldn't be surprised if Google starts penalising this kind of things. What does a moving bicycle bring to the user experience? Not much, but it probably massages the designers ego. Self-playing videos and auto-moving sliders are other known annoyances. This seems to be going that way too. I would much prefer that the Elementor team put more effort into improving (the sometimes poor) basic functionalities that brings benefits to the web site visitors.
This is bloody brilliant. Elementor Pro is the best investment for me, hands down.
Yeah buddy!
Proud Cactus Melbourne SEO really? The only lottie widget I found is from a third party.

Honestly incredible possibilities for non-developer. Amazing stuff! 🙌
I have pro and I'm on the latest version - everything is up to date - but it doesn't appear in the widget link...
Likewise!!! ARG!!!
Where it be my friends?!??! :-)
Yeah this shit isn't on there....
I can't find it either, so frustrating
I there a possibility to make the animation to go to the start point when you move the mouse off it? (if hover is the trigger)

Why image sequence (json) is not allowed like Webflow it would be much much better please try to add it, thanks elementor team.
Hey Guys, testing here... Lottie only working if you inform the URL of the animation. Uploading json file is not working ;) Thank you

is it possible to add animation with hover control on template logo?
without nonsense tutorial, I appreciate.
Excited about the fun uses for the Lottie widget
I want to ask something how we can make this kind of background in elementor
Is there an option to add a setting similar to "On Hover Out" but for On Click? Being able to have the animation reverse on click would be very useful for custom menus and/or elements.
Since Elementor switched to containers why there is no option in widget settings to play Lottie on container hover?
How do i add a lottie animation to the buy now button in the corner?
I use Media File and load json file but cannot see the Lottie widget.
Really love your tips! I love Elementor and everything it allows to do with website!
This is insane!!! Forget about gif files haha
Is there a way make a lottie animation play once on first click and play once but reversed on second click?
Is it possible to replace the "Submit button" of (Elementor Forms) with Lottie Animations ?

Can you add a lottie to Flip Box?

Lovely video. Elementor is awesome. Please where do you get the image resources for the background and cycling
Testing the media file .json or external url does not work for me either. I just see a static image of the animation.
