We don't do a pets theme at our center but we do have a community helpers theme. You gave me an idea for my dramatic play center next year when we do community helpers. Amazon has an assortment of animals. I honestly can’t say where all of ours have come from, as they get collected throughout the years, but I do know the larger ones were from Amazon. They were much larger than we anticipated so they were not to scale with the others, but they fit nicely in small hands for painting and washing!

@@SuziQ-fg4ee - We used to change themes every week and it was crazy. Two weeks has given the children more time to explore. And if there is an activity they are still enjoying, I will keep it out even after a theme switch. I don't base every center on the theme - I also tap into their interests.
@@Teaching2and3YearOlds I like that idea. I used to do it weekly but it was so much work!!! Plus I couldn't fit all of the activities in I wanted. So I am trying monthly but it seems too long and the theme gets tired. I am going to try fortnightly now and see how that goes. Thank you!

I think that’s how I might do it next year - combining it with a community helpers theme. Haven’t decided yet. 😁
Your kiddos will love it. We typically only do a pet theme every second year but I think it’s one of our favourite themes.
