Hi Per! You are a legendary skald in my eyes and I was wondering where I should look other than Etsy, I like the sound and size a lot of yours have, and would like to know where to purchase my own to pursue the art of playing the Swedish tagelharpa.
Hello! It is really nice to hear that you like my music. I got a bit confused first since this video is with jaw harp, but I understand it is a tagelharpa you are looking for. The tagelharpa I play, and build, is based on the traditional talharpa from Ormsö island which was used by a Swedish minority living on Estonian theritory. If you want a tagelharpa of the kind I play, my best advice is to order one from me. I normally build 2-3 harps a year and I don't sell them on Etsy. I don't mass produce them, but I try to get as close to the original tradition as possible, with a functional instrument.
