This is the most useful video I’ve come across for understanding different medications. Thank you!
Dr. Stevens was my sleep doc
This was a great updated review with clinical pearls for the practitioner. Thanks Dr. Stevens!
Thank you.
You can also mix Pitolisant and stimulants.
In the process of figuring out my medications right now with my neurologist. This is always my first go to video to understand my medication. Thank you so much for the info!
I'm not exactly sold. Why are energy drinks bad for the cardiovascular system? The main drug is caffeine that ranges between 100-300mg. Which is well within FDA recommended maximum, so I'd like to know what the danger a caffeinated drink has over a capsule of caffeine of equal dose taken with enough water.
Is there any of these studies to enroll in now in Virginia? I tried every one of these but xyrem. I am on the brand name Nuvigil and it still only works 30% of the time. My other question is what is the safest of all of these medications for stroke patients with type 1 narcolepsy with cataplexy? I have small vessel disease and have had 3 strokes in the last 2 years and have PBA as well and high blood pressure. I have a 12 year old daughter who depends on me and I want to be on the safest but effective medication and not incur more crippling CVA’s. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
