Oooh, I tried this once! I had a blue sparkly shadow I mashed up and put in clear polish. It surprised me when it dried matte. I have an extra loose Dragons Breath shadow from give me glow you’re giving me ideas for.
If you have these bigger flaky pigments you could try it with them too! For anyone who doesn’t want to commit: I kinda did something similar without and spread a holo eyeshadow shade just in powder form on my nails and then used a premade clear polish with big orange to yellow to green to blue flakes over it and it was sooooo beautiful. Might put it on again later I am inspired 🎉
I have experimented with making my own too!!😊 It's so much easier now with getting supplies online!! Would luv to see u add some glitter flakes in some too❤
This takes the term “Creator” to a whole new level and I am loving it! I would love to see more content like this. Also, I wonder if you can do this with gel polish. I’ll have to do some research!
I love DIY, re- and upcycling videos like this so definitely would love to see a part two! I have a hard time throwing things away even when a product didn't work out for me and ends up just laying around but I always try to find a way to repurpose things so this is very inspiring. Also it's fun to see how the colors turn out on your nails! I only tried mixing and pressing eyeshadows so far and with shifting and sparkling shades you never really know what you get :)
This was so much fun 😊. Maybe you should get some swatchsticks, so it's easier to see the polishes 🙂 I have some pretty but old Revolution eyeshadows that have started smelling, that I could try this with 😀 And yes to a part 2 👍
I cannot contain my excitement! I have been searching for my ideal blue/brown nail polish, and because I haven’t found it, I was considering making my own with eye shadow pigment! I have an empty bottle and some mixing balls; now off to order some base! 💙💚🤎❤️
Have you tried this with squishy shades or dried creams shadows? I have a few dried super shocks you can’t get anymore and it would be a great way to use the rest.
The ER shade was a little bit squishy and seemed to mix in fine! With the dry supershocks, I would make sure to break it apart as much as possible until it’s more like a loose powder before mixing it in
this is so cool. i loveeee the polishes you created previously, esp the blue ones, and i loveeee the ones you created. can the pinky shade be called imperial pink??? just a thought. yesssss to a part 2!!!
i haven’t seen a vid from you in a while and was sooo sad. but then i looked you up saw i was un subbed from you against my will!! had to binge! this is such a cool idea!!

Where can I get the flakey types of pieces used in many nail polishes? I have one I want to add gold ones to. But not gold leaf, it can’t be put *into* the nail polish.
Yes to part 2 with some of the jewel toned muktichromes
Definitely!!

I wouldn’t use eyeshadows that have gone bad 🥲 and yes i will get those nail swatch sticks!
@@badtothebrow I though of using them as a test to see if it works for me instead of potentially ruining good ones 🙃

Yes a part 2! I would love to see a multichrome, like the purple blue one or green purple or orange and red :)
🙌🏻🙌🏻
I was wondering how this was done! Thanks for such a great tutorial 💗
So fun ! Thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@badtothebrow I think the science and the art of it all is so fascinating. There are base formulas and special shades and ways to build a rainbow 🌈
Oh yeah! that's so cool :)
Thank you for this good idea, I'll try too
the rose gold pink is beautiful! they’re all pretty. how does the color wheel come into play? maybe that’s why they’re somewhat similar?
It definitely does come into play! There’s a lot to consider when mixing multis but I just go for it 🤣
@@badtothebrow me too lol - omg the new terra moons has some BANGERS
This is very useful. Thank you so much for this video!
Glad it was helpful!
