Good morning man ☕️ still hoping to cross paths with you one of these days.
The auxiliary battery is mainly for our engine’s auto-start feature. Honestly, we are not fans of the auto-start feature because it puts a lot of unnecessary wear and tear on the engine’s starter.
The money you save (which is very very very little) while the engine is turned off at stop signs or lights…you end up paying back plus some when you need to replace your starter due to this feature.
We do our best to turn off the auto-start every single time we drive the vehicle because when the engine is started…there’s no reason to turn it off-and-on 10-20 more times during our drive to and from home. Hope your staying warm. 👍

​​@@DIYwithMichaelBorders , I don't like the auto stop start feature either. You can purchase a device to disable this. it's also possible to disable it by turning it off in the engineering settings through your stereo display but I wouldn't access this unless you know what you're doing. On the Chrysler vehicles there's a module located on the battery that you disconnect to disable the auto start stop feature you can see it has a red and yellow wire on the right hand side of the main battery 5:13

How about an open door on the dash when the door is closed

Thanks for watching, do you see any signs of damage to door latch? Not the outer handle, but the latch located on door.
