- Hiking up Mt. Lafayette in late January with with @btonevibes and @jproberts. I also explore the idea of dealing with annoying things in life head on, biting the bullet, and making change. I filmed all the mountain footage on a sony rx100v and talk about how gear doesn't matter as long as you have a story worth telling. I'm trying to figure out how to get the Sony to perform better in low light and will explain the progress. Also, I'm recording a music album in 2018.

Try naming your video something like: *Kyle Finn Dempsey: Landscape Photography in the White Mountains*
Also fill out your description box with a paragraph explaining the video. Make sure to name drop popular search terms like photography, cabins, etc.
Finally, try to publish your videos during hours your audience is awake.
Your content is golden and if you adapt to youtube seo/algorithm; your content will skyrocket.
Thanks a lot man! And I really appreciate this advice. I will definitely work on all these things. I feel a little weird putting my name in the title but I do want to focus on creating very click-able titles and thumbnails. I totally get what you're saying though!
I didn't know the description box was that important and that it could cue search terms! I always thought short and sweet was the easiest cause no one likes reading anyways. But if that's the case, I will definitely write longer descirptions.
Unfortunately, I've been uploading at night because my wifi is so slow that it takes a few hours and I don't feel like waiting so I just do it while I sleep. But that's a very good point. I should just wait till the next day, hit a coffee shop and try to upload around noon right? I can definitely see that making a different.

It is strange using your name in title, however you have already built a "brand" on instagram around your name. So try to leverage that in your favor.
You can keep uploading the videos at night, just set the video to private while uploading. When you want to make the video live and view-able, switch from private to public and hit publish.

I love this!! Never seen snow in person before, can’t wait to. There’s a place here in Hawai‘i called Haleakala, which translates to the House of the Sun, it’s quite beautiful to go and watch the sun rise or set there.

I drove Charter Buses for 32 years and have been to N.H and to the top of Whites Mountain.
It was a fall trip 60 degrees, top of the mountain was 30, snow and 40 mph winds, yes it was a real buger.
Thank You for taking me back to a place I’ve always enjoyed going to.

I had impingement and did the same trying to push through it. You have to rest the shoulder movements and work around it till it heals.
We just hiked a few 4,000 footers, including Mt Pierce, in the Whites and it was so so beautiful! Our videos will be up in a few days. Excellent job conveying the mystical wonder of the winter mountains in your video.

5:47 what a cozy white trail! I love hiking and hated hiking in the winter before but I learned to love it and now I think it’s beautiful hiking in the winter with fluffy white snow and trees covered in snow! ❄️this video is AMAZING especially the part of the hiking trail

Love your content! What software do you use to edit your videos and photos? Also, do you add a filter to your camera or apply the filter digitally?

I want to start doing casual photography. Are there any point and shoots you would recommend? Maybe one that I could switch out lenses etc...??
I don't think many point and shoots allow you to switch out lenses. If you'd like the ability to do that, I would go for the canon t3i or one of the entry level crop sensor DSLR's. My point and shoot has a fixed lens but its 24-70 so it's really all I would need. It was more expensive than an entry dslr because of the quality. I plan to do a gear video soon and offer some more suggestions in real time about this kind of stuff!
