I love your vibe man. You're humble confidence and sneaky humour really makes the show what it is. I don't think I would have subscribed if it were anyone else.
@@KurtisBlack cant believe you responded so fast to a comment from 4 years ago, but interesting that you spell it two ways, very funny regardless though.
Scam school, you never fail to entertain me... I use your tricks every day. This was the first magic/illusion channel I ever watched... Thanks Brian, for making videos like these to keep people like me interested in the art of magic/scamming... You rock man.. :)
if you remember on a different episode he used the same method, before I even see the reveal I know that it relys on the fact that on every dice if you add the number on one face and on the opposite side you get 7 :)
This guy went all in on the presentation, seems like everyone was really enjoying themselves, and isn't that why people get into this in the first place?
first time watching, paused at 2:54 A fair 6-sided die will always have numbers on opposite sides equal 7, times 3 will always be 21, which tells me there's a force involved. Just this is the first time that knowing this fact has actually helped me with a trick :)
Easiest trick I've seen on scam school yet. As soon as he flipped the dice over I instantly knew exactly what he was going to do. Do people really not know how dice are made?
I love the intro to this, because he says "you cant have too many...card tricks." But just the other day, I watched one where he started with "I hate card tricks because its 4 basic steps, card chosen, identified, lost, and found."
Can't you just watch without complaining?! This is a good trick for begginers. If you don't like it, just don't make some rude comments. Thanks again Brian :D
How the choice worked was he had the matching card as the 21st, and had the mate as the 12th. So he had Jack of Diamonds as his prediction and put Jack of Diamonds as the 21st, he then put the Jack of Hearts as the 12th for if they chose that one, saying that obviously there is only one of each card so this is the closest he could have. Hope I helped :)
Wow, the cool thing is, you can keep coming up with variations! You could even have them or someone else, deal down the cards, as long as they don't shuffle them i guess. I liked the volunteer guy, good laughs, good magic trick.
when I prepare for that trick I use the 10 of spades as a prediction, and on the numbers 12 13, (and so on) i put jack, queen, kind and ace of spades. So if they pick 21 I get the right prediction if the pick 12 i get a straight flush
What if they insist on adding the 1 and the 2 to get 3? Make the third card a joker, and write "Roll the dice and no one panics, but choose the and everyone loses their minds!" on it with a sharpie? Or maybe, "Why so ?" .
I figured out that 21 was going to be the magic number when he said to combine the top and bottom. I know dice pretty well. Wasn't expecting the 12 alternative though.
03:26 i think i already know the trick The awnser is because on such a dice the number you roll plus the number on the downside always equal 7 3x7 = 21 no matter what you actually roll. Lets see if im right :)
Hey Brian! I love ScamSchool especially the episodes that involve cards. Could you (or anyone) create a playlist on your channel that only has the card trick episodes in them? I knew there where great ones but I cant seem to find em all.
Hi Scam School, i just thought of a REMIX to this trick. Instead of using a card from a different deck, just write the prediction in a sheet of paper using the magic erase pen (i forgot the name of the pen). Then have the selected card on the 21st from top. If the magic # 12 appears, or the expectator chooses 12, use the heat to change the suit of the card say from spade to clubs. Just a thought.. double whammy..
Brian, do you ever find it awkward when you are already seated with your friends and have everything set up, then have to start the video like, "OMG, I'm so glad I can be here with x, y and z!" like they just magically showed up at that moment?
Havbaba the way he said at the start i was sure something was fishy when he twisted the dice and the other guy even said "you didn't tell me about the math before"
if they roll a 5, you just show the bottom of the dices and thell them to add the numbers. When they add all numbers correctly they get 21. So you go with 21. Only if they roll 12 you give them the option to decide either to go with 12 or 21. Basically you look what happens and then decide what to do. Dont give them any options before they have rolled the dices.
First Reason is that if you roll 3 dices the probability to get 9, 10, 11 or 12 is quite high, because there are a lot of number combination you can roll to get these results (e.g. to score a 3 all 3 dices have to show the 1). So you know most of the time you perform, someone will end up with a score between 9 and 12.So why 12? You have the 21 and 12 is kind of a mirror image...it just looks good. In Fact, you could use 21 and any random number from 3 to 18(3x6). Just place your cards right ;)
Did they talk about how they forced people to add up both sides rather than just taking the sum of one side? Like if I rolled a total of 3, or something.. he would just say OK... now add up both sides... so to force it?
I remember the day when Scam School taught me tricks that really kicked ass, tricks that after watching them I was like "what the fck?!" not like "phew... poor".
0:40 I'm sick of JT! My mother cranks it while cooking or cleaning, her boyfriend serenades her with his songs on guitar, my sister and her pals can't get enough of it, and now it's in the background of a video from my 3rd favorite (sorry Brian) TH-cam channel! WHY CAN'T I ESCAPE JUSTIN FUCKING TIMBERLAKE'S MUSIC! DX
I like my force better. I use my homemade rigged nickles. one is set to come up heads, one tails, and I add a random quarter to make it look like just random change. I know what year the heads nickle was made and I say "spin the coins until there is only one coin that is heads side up". Then have them read the year off to me one number at a time. So 1962, I count off one, nine, six, two and the reveal. The way it's set up it seems truly random.
I love your vibe man. You're humble confidence and sneaky humour really makes the show what it is.

This dude should of made Half Life 3 appear instead of the Jack.
Why not, Justin? We really should be best friends. I've been saying so for years.
Been a fan of the show for so long. Love it.

Love that JT playing in the background
I learned more with the fact that the dices add up to 7 then any other thing in this video!
funny how he was like im glad to be here on ahhh looks at his notes in his jacket scam school LOL!!! at 2:05
What stunned me more is the fact that there seem to be people that don't know how the numbers on a die are ordered.
Great to see a great card trick can you do more of these
Figured it out as soon as he flipped the dice over so easy
Good trick easy to learn and you can take the trick in many directions.
Gaben!!!! he learnt how to say 3 :D

um... I did. Like 200 episodes ago.
Wait... Where's the crazy mind blowing trick?
I like the part where he checks inside his jacket to read what the name of the show is

Agreed. The only part I wasn't sure on was making the 12 and that was only clean because of luck.
I knew how this trick is done, but holy crap, it was so entertainging. At this point 9:28 I was peeing my pants along with you, Brian xD
8:50 .. I can't stop laughing. Brian got so nervous! lmao.

I did know the answer already since he twisted the dices...
The total is always 21, wauw...
Me too, and well, psychology!

the way he said at the start i was sure something was fishy when he twisted the dice and the other guy even said

Hey Brian how recently bought a product on your website scam stuff, how long does it take until the product arrives??
As soon as he turned the dice over I was thinking "I got this."
well, if you already knew about the dice opposite faces adding up to 7, it's pretty obvious.
Got it right away. Two sides of a dice add up to 7
First Reason is that if you roll 3 dices the probability to get 9, 10, 11 or 12 is quite high, because there are a lot of number combination you can roll to get these results (e.g. to score a 3 all 3 dices have to show the 1).

I've got a question about that trick...
Is there a limit of how far I can go, or can I just keep on going until it pokes out the back of my head?
to make this an even better trick use the wow prop. to throw it off for a moment and change it into their card.
Did they talk about how they forced people to add up both sides rather than just taking the sum of one side? Like if I rolled a total of 3, or something.. he would just say OK... now add up both sides... so to force it?

Stunning card trick... first thing that came to mind was twisted fate XD
By two and a half minutes I already new the big thing that jinxed this trick the start with the dice will always answer 21
he says we should be best friends but i cant believe it!
I love skipping the sponsor ads
You monster!
Lincoln looks extremely similar to GabeN
"you have tricky magician fingers."
"the dice are not loaded, but the magician is."
Reconize this one immediately. One of the worst Scam ever
Brian, you really need to start putting a mic on your magicians. Barely heard him over the music.
Awesome video
It's like I'm a mirror, my mirror staring back at me
8:50 David tries to hold Brian's hand.....awkward hahaha

I knew this trick before watching. I learned to do it with one dice/die, however.
You should come to Australia and buy me a beer Brian
Technically a deck of cards has 56 cards to begin with. The 52 cards, 2 jokers and 2 brand cards.
Thanx again for that.
The sum of 3 dice top and bottom will always be 21

Really criss angel tought this trick on tv but still a cool trick
this song rocks!
And now I'm all teary eyed Q-Q
You should come to Denton and trick me into buying you beer.
Does this basically means that the trick won't work if the person rolled let's say 5, and doesn't want to change his/her opinion?
scam school should start doing giveaways
Gaben rolls three dice, Half Life 3 confirmed
well! use 1 of a jack as a prediction then put three other at 12 or 21 or 33. so then no matter what they do. They cant get away from your force!
Never stop making video plz
brian is acting surprised at that dice math. you guys did a few similar dice tricks and brian mentioned that before
Is it just me or does this Lincoln guy totally look like Gabe Newell?
Lol
So simple. On all dice, the sum of two opposite sides is ALWAYS 7. So 7x3 is 21. This is the most obvious trick in existence
Is this in dallas? Sick!
is this in the scam school book ?
I haven't seen how the trick is done. I think that:
The opposite sides on a dice add up to the same number, ALL opposite sides...
i love that show :D
