I hope this video inspires you to go on a waterfall expedition on Minnesota's North Shore! If you would like to learn more about these state parks, be sure to check out my bio for links to each, as I created a vlog for each park/waterfall! Thanks so much for watching!
So excited that I came across this video! My hubby has a job here in Minnesota for a year and we are wanting to sight see and now I have found a bucket list! Tysm!
We did that trip this summer as well! Such beautiful scenery, and I would highly recommend that drive for everyone! There is SO much to see. Palisades Head, Grand Marais and Split Rock Light House were all phenomenal stops for us! Unfortunately, we didn't make it to High Falls with our little one, but did make it to a couple of the others. We will have to go back. Grand Portage was quite a site and well worth the drive. Thanks for sharing, great video!
Thank you so much! The outdoor opportunities on the North Shore are endless! I've been visiting that North Shore, annually, for over 15 year now and it never gets old. I still discover more beautiful areas year after year. It definitely holds a special place in my heart. Thanks so much for watching!
@@vincedy267 Sorry Vince, this might be too late. We took 3 days and seen quite a few of the sites on the North Shore Drive. We didn't get to do too many hikes, but most of them are right off the road, so you can see quite a few quickly. I think if we had 1 more day, we could've got a couple more in. Here is a great list of sites to see northshorevisitor.com/attractions/mile-by-mile/
Why stop at 6? The falls on the Cascade River are small but absolutely magical. The falls on the Beaver River are awesome. Then there is the Split Rock River Loop which has around 9 waterfalls and slides. They are not on the map but trust me they are there!
@@JeanieMarie Your videos are very well done and fun to watch. And I thought WE were the only ones crazy enough to drive to the North Shore and back in one day! By the way we have been to Caribou Falls twice The first time we had it all to ourselves, but the second time was on a hot day and the entire Canyon was flooded and there were tons of people there! It was like this Shangri-La in the middle of nowhere!
Willow river state park near Stillwater man has an amazing trail/waterfall to view! If you haven’t checked it out I’d recommend it! Would make for a good video

Trying to figure out how we can squish so many of these into one day! And with a dog… might do a couple and go have lunch 😂
You missed Cascade river state park, with its multiple waterfalls. That’s a gross over site! That’s also a great hike alone the river.
Yes, I've been there too. It is beautiful!
I took a selfie at the Welcome sign on the Iowa border and a random motorist pulled over and yelled "WELCOME TO MINNESOTA!"
😆 😆
How long did it take you to see all 6 ?
I didn't do these all in one day :) They are all spread out over multiple trips!
Are these all in MN ?
Yes! Along the north shore!
I was going to fight you if you picked anything but the high falls for number one!
😆 Yes, it's definitely the best! So pretty!
Heading that way ?? Is that passport just your State ????🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
No I this each state may have a state park passport book. I know Colorado has it too!
