Happy 3rd anniversary, A Hat In Time!
This is a mashup of the songs "Peace & Tranquility" by Pascal Michael Stiefel, and "Not Exactly (Live Edit)" by Deadmau5. The latter part took inspiration from the hard intro edit from 2008. Those original tracks were not sampled in this song - all beats, synths, and sounds were made using synthesizers and drum & loop sample packs.
A Hat In Time is a wonderful game with an incredible soundtrack. If you have not yet played it, I strongly recommend trying it out. It's easily in my top five games of all time. Check it out here: gearsforbreakf...
The video was rendered using Source Filmmaker in the Half Life Alyx workshop tools using models from HLA, A Hat In Time (originally ported by Guimian) and a Deadmau5 model (originally ported by MrGiggles). The latter two sets of models were converted from their original Source 1 ports to Source 2 by me specifically for this video. As of now there are no plans to redistribute.
The audio visualizer was rendered in Blender.

All of these are either from the base game or from a mod. I ripped and ported the models to source 2 myself from the game and the mods. I think the low poly hat kid is actually part of the unmodded game (maybe one of the DLCs?).
