- This video tutorial will teach you how to Braid/Weave ribbon that you can attach to a headband, flip flops, barrets, etc. This technique is so easy and fun to do and the color and pattern combos are endless. Have Fun.
Supplies needed:
3/8" ribbon (I use two different colors/patterns)
hot glue gun
E6000 glue
clothespins
headband (or whatever you are adhearing the ribbon to)

This is also called a "military braid". I have made these for homecoming mums. I never thought about gluing them to a head band. Thanks so much for sharing!

Hi, you make everything so easy for me, but how did you determine the length of your ribbon needed to fit over whatever used? I noticed you had more once it was applied to the headband...have you or anyone figured out the common solution?

where did you get your glue gun? I have never seen one with such a thin point
How about much ribbon would you need to cover a 1/2 in wide headband?

How would you do this with 3 colored ribbon instead of 2? I'm weaving a handfasting cord for my wedding at the end of oct and I want to use 3 ribbons for it if thats possible!
You said you went to Halo Heaven .com for your supplies put I can't seem to find 5/8 inch headband they have 1/4, and 1 inch, so where can I find the 5/8 inch also where can I find the small stretchy headbands to cover the hairband?

I have a baby headband made like this but it has the tiny skinny elastic woven in it. I can't figure out how this is done. I have even taken it apart. Any ideas?
