    Mình đánh giá rất cao các video của Sonus luôn ạ! Thầy giáo tiếng anh dạy rất chi tiết luôn, lại có sự phân biệt giữa các âm tương tự với nhau, rồi có cả cách để phát âm chuẩn nữa chứ! Cô giáo dịch sang tiếng Việt cũng vô cùng tuyệt vời khi cô giảng lại mấy từ ngữ mình nghe chưa rõ hoặc chưa hiểu ý thầy! May mắn quá khi gặp video và kênh này! Cảm ơn rất nhiều ạ!

      The 16 lessons that we have already online form a complete package, because they contain ALL of the consonant and vowel sounds Vietnamese people usually have problems with. We didn't (and still don't) want to make any videos about sounds that Vietnamese people don't have a problem with, because it would be a waste of time and money. Our channel is different from other English pronunciation channels because we make our lessons based on the Vietnamese problems, not simply based on the order of the sounds in the phonemic chart. Therefore, our channel is much more focused on trying to help Vietnamese people with learning to speak better English. ✔🤩

    Could you please show me how to pronounce the /dz/ sound. I can't discriminate
    the diference between /z/ and /dz/. Thank you !!

    • @SonusVN
      @SonusVN  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      with the /dz/ sound, you start with your tongue in the /d/ position (so the air is blocked) and your make the sound when you release the tongue, say the /d/ sound, which is immediately followed by the /z/ sound. With the /z/ sound, the air is not blocked to begin with.
      First try practicing with the /ts/ vs /s/ pair (peats vs peace, butts vs bus, fleets vs fleece, gets vs guess, hits vs hiss, lights vs lice, sits vs sis) because the tongue position (and movement) for the /ts/ sound is the same as for the /dz/ sound. The only difference is that the /dz/ is voiced (there is vibration in your throat) and the /ts/ is not voiced (there is no vibration in your throat). When you get the /ts/ vs /s/ pair right, then you can move on to practicing the /dz/ vs /z/ pair.
