      If you look even deeper, in the trash room where Chica’s chasing you. They are all over there too. (Just heads) then in the room with sticky’s you see a lot of heads as well. But what reallyyyy caught my eyes is this. Mom and dad are there (Williams and Mrs afton) Elizabeth is there as baby, Mike is there dressed as a fnaf employee, but here’s the big kicker. The head is MISSING, from the crying child’s body. Showing the mimic hey, one of the family memebers died to getting bit at the head in g. Freddy’s mouth. This whole theory lines up so perfect that honestly, I think he cracked the code. But it’s just a theory…. A GAME… nah doesn’t feel right anymore.

    This theory is insane in the best way possible - those sticky notes & the mimic & the shipment in the books have been bugging me. I also noticed the drawn to sound and wracked my brain trying to see where that tied in and couldn’t.
    This makes so much sense. Like, the fandom said ‘we don’t want afton, heck a new copycat killer would be better then afton coming back’ and steel wool said ‘hold my hat’ and gave us a literal ai trained to be a copycat killer. It just makes so much more story sense.
    I love this theory! Good fkin job 👍👍

    • @snakemaster254
      @snakemaster254 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I wouldn’t say it’s insane, surprisingly this has always been somewhat close to my initial interpretation of security breach, minus the presence of the mimic as an entity because I didn’t know it existed until the books revealed it.
      I had always assumed that Vanny had taken a Glamrock endo and began to train it by glitchtrap’s instructions to become a perfect vessel for him to take form from. The whole machine learning thing with the endo daycare seemed obvious to me even before the mimic was revealed, so the mimic also being its own entity that was used as a stepping stone/model for Glitchtrap makes sense.
      If you consider the idea that William and The mimic are separate entities, that means that whatever remained of William after Cassidy kept him alive to torture him, has been fully destroyed by fnaf ruin leaving only the mimic without the influence of Afton.

    • @snakemaster254
      @snakemaster254 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Also I just considered the idea that maybe the mimic that Vanny had been training wasn’t the mimic we see in security breach, rather it would be the HELPI bot found in the mask, I think the idea makes some sense seeing as if William is gone by ruin, that still leaves the question of why there is two mimic entities working together, one physical, one digital.
      Perhaps HELPI is all that remains of the Mimic AI that glitchtrap was preparing to make his vessel.
      That would explain both endings of Help Wanted 2 and ruin’s plot.
      Glitchtrap does turn Cassie’s dad into a staff bot holding the Vanny mask to create him a new servant, however the piece of Glitchtrap that was William was destroyed leaving only the AI he had been training/was hijacking behind. This AI then cooperates with the physical mimic to free him from his prison underground.

    I personally love the idea of Glitchtrap being the "big bad" trying to get the Mimic more in line with Glitchtrap's vision of an ideal body (that being Afton's body). This would also line up with there being two "forces" or "halves" of an AI conflicting with one another. The Glitchtrap AI trying to control the Mimic's AI to rejoin and become whole, be the same inside and out.

    • @ellespoonies
      @ellespoonies 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@justice8718I suppose that could be, but ultimately with Glitchtrap gone both options would still leave us with the Mimic version of Afton. The version that, as you called out, isn’t _really_ authentically William, but is just operating on the flawed code it was programmed with. It’s a villain that is almost not even evil, but because it doesn’t have the capability to really process the morality of the instructions it’s following it commits horrible actions. It’s literally showcasing how machine learning can go horribly wrong if instructions are not specific enough that the AI has to make assumptions based on the gaps in knowledge provided.

    This theory of the Mimic being there and active the whole time makes a particular scene that has bugged me for years make a little more sense: it's in Security Breach, when Gregory sees four Staff Bots around another dismembered Staff Bot. People constantly said it was Monty's doing, but I thought that was TOO weird, if that was the case he would've destroyed Staff Bots in other places too, why the single one in the basement which was also meant for the player to see with ZERO comments or explainantion? Maybe it's another parallel to the worker who got murdered in the book? It could be just another 1983 reference but how many do we need? And why would the Staff Bots represent that and not specific animatronics?

    • @JinxeBlaq
      @JinxeBlaq 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I don’t think you NEED the books particularly, after all, he just proved all the clues were already there before the Mimic was even revealed in the books.
      It’s more like the books help you piece things together faster since its narrative is more linear.

    • @Angermations
      @Angermations 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You're actually partially wrong here.
      Well yes, the books are very important and necessary to understanding the story of the games, they are also in the continuity of the games. The only books Scott has said are not in-continuity would be the Charlie trilogy, which cannot fit in the timeline. However, he stated almost the exact opposite about Fazbear Frights and Tales from the Pizzaplex. He's stated that some of Frights is directly connected to the games, while some aren't. This perfectly fits with what's in the books; the Stitchline causes no problems in the timeline and, in fact, even solve some big problems in the timeline, all while filling in a few blanks from the past, this being between FFPS and Help Wanted, and between Help Wanted and Security Breach. The Into the Pit game is more proof of this, allowing us to explore the world that the book could not. The ITP game is 100% canon, too, there's no way *this* much effort would be put into a spin-off game, along with the 2023 date reveal in the ARG, it's obvious that this game is meant to solve the book canonicity argument, and is also the reason Scott never responded to the debate in the community, because he and Mega Cat were developing a game that would outright solve the debate in a much better way than a simple Reddit post or email. Tales from the Pizzaplex needs no other evidence for it's canonicity; the description of the books state it all... that it's "in the world of the newest games", this being backed up by an email from Scholastic, who, by the way, would absolutely know the answer. They knew about the ITP game before us, they would know this, too.
      Overall, the Stitchline and Tales from the Pizzaplex stories are absolutely in the games' continuity.

      And what does that *mean* exactly? Some of the stories wholesale? Some *aspects* of the story (eg the Mimic being sent to the Pizzaplex, more or less)? Something else?
      >the Stitchline causes no problems in the timeline
      It REALLY does, considering William Afton is intact in Security Breach, yet he supposedly exploded into a trash rabbit in the books.
      And yes, i'm 100% certain the toasted corpse in the Springlock Suit with Springtrap Bits, down in the place he was trapped in 6, is William Afton and not Mimic's Cosplay.
      He cannot be down there if he was pulled out of FFPS's location, pulled out of the suit, and exploded all over a warehouse.
      >The ITP game is 100% canon, too, there's no way this much effort would be put into a spin-off game
      So your source is "there's a lot of effort"...?
      That's dumb.
      The movies almost certainly have *FAR* more effort and money dumped in them, and yet they are *not* Games Timeline. Scott, as far as i'm aware, has not said it's Game Continuity either.
      >and is also the reason Scott never responded to the debate in the community, because he and Mega Cat were developing a game that would outright solve the debate in a much better way than a simple Reddit post or email.
      ...or Scott is just wanted to give a Trollish indirect answer (as usual) and let us figure it out ourselves.
      Which, we probably could, but some people (cough cough Matpat) do tend to spread some particularly... *dubious* theories which, while contradicting what we know, people kinda gobble up and Parrot without thinking
      (GT's "Timeline" (more Fanon, really), "Bite of 83 is a Springlock Failure" if you arent aware)
      >Tales from the Pizzaplex needs no other evidence for it's canonicity; the description of the books state it all... that it's "in the world of the newest games"
      *"In the world of the newest games"*
      =
      *"In the Five Nights at Freddy's Universe"*
      You need to learn the wording matters to an *absurd* degree here when you're discerning Games vs Books timelines.
      The Books, including the Novels, are *already* in the World of the games, they however are not in the continuity of the games as per Scott's words. Them being Canon/in the same Universe has never been the debate, the Timeline is.
      >who, by the way, would absolutely know the answer. They knew about the ITP game before us, they would know this, too.
      Steel Wool knew about Security Breach before us, you think they'd know a lot more about the lore too right?
      Wrong. They admitted for example they have 0 clue what the hell the Sister Location room *or* the message in it means, they were simply following Scott's instructions. The only people who know the Lore/what Is or Isnt Canon is only Scott Himself, he's not gonna show his cards and risk the answers leaking out until It's Time, i imagine.
      >Overall, the Stitchline and Tales from the Pizzaplex stories are absolutely in the games' continuity.
      I *DO* believe GGY is 100% Games Timeline, considering how much of a stark contrast it has to Tales and doesnt connect to *ANY* stories from Tales (Notably, it features Rabbits, no Tigers, has extremely direct Game Connections/references unlike the other stories, and matches the info we gathered from the games nearly 1:1, featuring the Games' protagonist unambiguously). The rest are dubious (or probably quite close, as far as the FNAF 4 one goes?) or non-canon.

      Greggory's Shirt is likely a coincidence similar to Jeremy, Jeremy, and Jeremy, who all lost their faces.
      The Table would, as mentioned, doesnt apply to just CC.

      @@higueraft571 before we start, I’m not trying to start an argument, just a conversation. I think I gathered that you said Michael Afton working there, but didn’t he die like twenty years before? And the table screams crying child. It was the only afton missing? It definitely doesn’t make any sense for the afton table to have anything to do with the mimic. Even if you believe the crying child story is done it doesn’t make sense to replace him with the mimic in that situation. I don’t necessarily believe 100% that Gregory is a robot. Or really at all. But he definitely has a long history that we don’t understand. And it seems pretty tied into the crying child. I don’t completely believe they are one and the same. But I do believe there’s some connection somehow. It doesn’t make sense to erase the crying child when all different pieces of evidence are tied to the crying child. What are your thoughts on those specific pieces? Do you believe that there is no tie to the crying child? Like, for instance, the all for me and the birthday party? Do you agree? do you agree It’s just a mimic seeing and writing down what he sees or what are your thoughts?

      >who, let's be honest, are both gone by now
      Henry? Yes, absolutely certain considering you were meant to find his charred bones down in the Burntrap Arena.
      Charlie however...? Considering the Fire didnt work (like it didnt the first time), pretty doubtful honestly. Though not sure where she'd be exactly...
      Of course as far as past characters go, we *know* that Michael Afton is still Alive. Not only did he survive the fire, but he's now working at the new FazEnt according to AR (presumably in some form of Middle Management, since he's likely not a CEO/Higher Up and certainly not a Wageslave)...
      MCI is... *technically* maybe still alive? If you count the Blob/being a feral "thing" that's devolved after all the excessive shit said MCI would have went through.
      Although Cassidy *does,* like "The Puppet" says in UCN, seem Very Aware still, considering i dont think she was blended into the others as a soup and was far more Determined than them. Not sure *where* she is at the moment for certain, maybe Princess Quest?
      Baby is definitely an Unknown.
      Overall, i'd say anyone that *was* undead already likely survived, and is somewhere in Hurricane/we'll likely run into them later.
      Also will note
      >Not a SINGLE mention of the word "parallel"
      The Mimic Story *is* a Parallel, he just used the word without actually saying it :V

We know she was down in the endo teaching room and it could explain how Vanny came out of nowhere in the sewer as well as the ending where Vanessa sees a version of herself that dies in the Vanny suit.
    Maybe she even practiced teaching endos to be replicate specific people by teaching them to be Vanny before trying it out on the mimic to recreate William Afton. Would make sense practicing by making copies of herself rather than making other Glitchtrap copies. He would definitely want to be the only one

  • @SaerasChuu
    @SaerasChuu 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    While I tentatively approve this theory, I think you're reading too much into the Mimic and Glamrock endo's being lured by sound commonality. This has been a thing since at least the third game with Springtrap. That was his whole gimmick. The human part of Springtrap wasn't able to fight the animatronic's desire to follow a child's voice whenever the player used an audio lure in an adjacent room. And I pretty sure it was also a feature of the Toy Animatronics from 2. This has been a long-standing thing with how the animatronics in this series function, it's definitely not unique to the glamrock generation.
    I do think that they were hinting at a mimic-bot being the new main antagonist for the series going forward, BUT... I think originally, it was explicitly going to mimic Afton/Vanny. Kill Vanny in Security Breach, then have the Mimic mimicking her behavior going forward (which would sorta explain that one ending where Vanny dies but Vanessa is still on the roof of the building) OR that Burntrap was eventually going to be de-bunnied and revealed to just be a robot mimicking the guy (rather than being the still-existing corpse-in-a-suit that we all know). The difference between this and your theory is that you state this was the in-game goal of Vanny, whereas I think this was originally Steel Wool's plan for Afton to keep coming back. Either way, people didn't respond to the very implication of that scenario very well, and so they made a few adjustments to what they already had and made the Mimic more of its own thing.
    Otherwise a surprisingly coherent storyline for these games.

      Probably because Mimic might have been an Endo since the beginning of the timeline, fnaf 0 as I like to call it. If he was a robot or Endoskeleton from the early days of the franchise, then that would make sense on why Glitchtrap knows about him, I mean MXES was designed to keep him hidden

    This was an awesome theory, it really does make a ton of sense when looking big picture at what security breach was supposed to be about/show. Maybe ruin was meant to make sure fans were definitely aware of the mimic specifically. Steel Wool might've realized it was potentially too ambiguous about the mimic and burntrap wasn't being properly understood as a fully Afton-ized mimic rather than the actual Afton corpse.

    • @higueraft571

      >Steel Wool might've realized it was potentially too ambiguous about the mimic and burntrap wasn't being properly understood as a fully Afton-ized mimic rather than the actual Afton corpse.
      Ehhhh no, i'm 100% certain Burntrap is *absolutely* Afton, and not the Mimic.
      The former is a Springlock Endo (with replacements included, one hand, eyes, and legs attached to the Original Pelvis namely) with a corpse impaled in it, wearing the Springtrap Suit.
      The latter is an entirely different endo with telescoping limbs, sharing a *similar* single hand (the replacement one, though depending on your opinion it could be the same but with minor differences, or a different model hand with similar enough design), and exactly 0 traces of Afton.
      This is only further reinforced when you consider that the FNAF 6 fire absolutely failed, because Henry is an idiot, and there's *far* more evidence (and far more solid) pointing to it failing than succeeding, and that IS where William would be after 6 :V

    I love your theory’s because the way you explain them is really convincing, even if sometimes I don’t fully agree with them. When I hear “need more proof” I get hyped.
    This is probably my favourite video of yours, keep up the great work.

    This is one of the most clear cut, cut and dry theories I’ve ever watched. This is amazing

    Great theory that explains almost everything, one of the best I've seen so far. One small issue with explanation of help wanted 2 endings, on 16:04 you said that Good ending is the only that is canon but we know as a fact that Helpitrap ending is pretty much canon, cuz without this one RUIN wouldn't have started, it shows how we free/put back together glitchtrap and then he traps Cassie 's dad in mask bot that we see in beginning of DLC. If we consider the Good ending the only canon one, then the Bad couldn't happen and RUIN ark wouldn't happen cuz then who gave us the VANNI mask at the beginning of RUIN? Either way that leaves to us two choices: 1) Good ending is not canon. or 2) Both of them canon but in Good one we see how mimic freed himself from glitchtrap control, that also explains why helpi and mimic were arguing when MXES was hijacked.

      >cuz then who gave us the VANNI mask at the beginning of RUIN?
      Cassie's Dad is NOT vital to this at all. He's simply Watching.

    Love it when you find those tiny details everyone missed, its great how dedicated you are but I think sometimes you put alot more meaning into a detail then can be reasonably assumed
    Like with the "New Generation Endo" clue cause it could be a Mimic-02 thing OR more likely it just the new generation of endos (like how the Endo-02 is the newer generation of endos when compared to Endo-01)
    Same with the "its drawn to sound" clue cause like ALL the animatronics are drawn to sound (both Fnaf 1 and 2 phone guy said so and even Fnaf 3 game play shows this with Springtrap following sound even when he is looking at you in the office so we can assume its been programmed even into the oldest Springlock Suits)
    Again those clues are great finds and definilty hint to some kind of rouge robot being kept in the pizza plex but those clues aren't as Mimic exclusive as you present them as

    Thank you so much for making my day. Last year on thanksgiving I made a theory about the mimic being connected to the post it room and I have been waiting for a known TH-camr to figure it out. Keep on making amazing theory’s like this one.

    I like this theory, i really enjoy your videos, John. This was a good one and does help make sense of a lot of those little bits of clues

    you know, this is what ive been missing.
    I love this theory so much, and it feels like a classic fnaf theory.
    Taking a simple concept from a book and then looking at all this evidence from the game and showing how it fits together cleanly even tho it's overlooked.
    Good theory. Thank you
