This drama is like a mixture of 40% SVSSS, 50% It's not easy being a Master & 10% every Danmei mashed up 😝 It was sooo unserious.
I'm absolutely in love with Shifu's character. He's so thin-skinned and effortlessly funny.
Since I can never have a live-action of SVSSS, I'll gladly take this one, even though this show has so many flaws, like half of the time you have to throw your brain out cause nothing makes sense 🤣. Even the character names change in S2... Why? Idk.. Throw your brain out, enjoy the comedy and eat the dog food 😝
I've rewatched it quite a few times already since both the seasons aren't even longer than 3 hours altogether.
S2 had more budget than S1, it's very visible. But comedy was peak in S1 I think.
Also, S2 ending messed me up.. Wtf was that. And if they don't give us a S3 after that ending I'll go crazy. I want more of them.
But I'll still say if you love SVSSS, you have to watch this despite it having all the flaws. It's absolutely crazy 😂

Finally I found somewhere I could see this short drama. Thank you for the links! I've just seen Is Xian Zun White Washed today? and will continue with Legend of Lin Ye. I love how it's a mash up of The Untamed and Word of Honor. Richard Li even looks like Simon Gong's younger brother, especially with his red eyeliner on!

Is this somehow related to SVSSS ???? why is the shifu similar to shen qinqiu ?? Even that system thing

It's not related to svsss. But it has similarities to all the existing transmigration novel about Master-Disciple relationship 😅 it's kinda like a Mashup of all those but even more ridiculous.
This Shifu is more thin skinned than our Sqq 😂
