    Maxwell Louis Waterman is a leader in arts administration, arts education, and entertainment. Mr. Waterman is a native of Brooklyn, NY, and a descendant of Barbadian heritage. His professional dance training consists of the Ailey Extension, the Ailey School, and the Joffrey Ballet School. He performed works by Clifton Brown, Michael Leon Thomas, Earl Mosley, Ronald K. Brown, Germaul Barnes, Nathaniel Hunt, Anna Noble, Iquail Johnson, Karen Arceneaux, Pat Dye, Dana McBroom-Manno, Martha Graham, and Twyla Tharp. After receiving a B.S. in Dance from Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus, Mr. Waterman began working in arts institutions, such as the Brooklyn Arts Exchange, and the AbunDance Academy of the Arts. Currently, he is an after-school program coordinator at the 92Y, a company member of Ntrinsik Movement, and a writer for the Black Dance Magazine (blackdancemag.org). Mr. Waterman plans to use his value of spiritual consciousness to establish a future that encourages us to become the best versions of ourselves.
