Hi, sometimes the babies don't want to drink milk. That's okay. try to see if the baby is having gas trapped in their stomach, is the baby feeling bloated? then, give the baby some tummy time, cycling exercise, lay the baby on the back and hold both the legs and press the legs to the stomach. Check if the baby is not pooping. put warm towel on the tummy. make the baby drink water. even if the baby is refusing to drink, check if the bottles are smelling. check if the nipple is damaged, get a new bottle.
Please don't be depressed... It will effect your baby's feed(milk)... Try to listen to motivational video's or happy songs or devotional songs etc.. It will give you strength.. NICU parents have be really strong mentally for our babies.. I am a new mom too.. I had twins, delivered in my 26th week, baby girl was 700gms n baby boy was 550gms(he had hernia, had operation after 3 days.. But made it for 18days only) baby girl is still in hospital.. So i know, it's not easy.. But we have to get through it for our babies... Hang in there... God bless your baby n you too.. Take care...
