Nicole The leave in worked for me, but I haven’t felt compelled to spend more on the rest of the products. Also, I only bought the travel and THAT was too much.
I love Tracee Ellis Ross and would/will support black owned businesses but they gotta work for me just like any other product. I think these products maybe for people of Tracee's hair texture and above tbh and that's no shade. I love coming here cuz you give a honest review and I appreciate it immensely.
The Sean Paul part took me out 😭😭 I keep trying to make that medium conditioner work my hair be crying 🥴🥴 I will say the conditioners aren’t bad if you’re reverting from blow dried/ straight hair
I love the shade to the brand I won't mention, but I caught it lmao! I will say for all reviews, Pattern thanked them for the honest review under each video, good or bad. So, since they came back and removed so many additives that people had concerns about, it is a very stand up thing to do. I love the review, as always!
I love the conditioner I have a more 3 type but my son has 4 type hair and his hair is very coarse. I thought I needed ally of water but when I used just a little it worked. But I used the intensive conditioner, I think she said she used the medium one
The Sean Paul reference 🤣🤣🤣👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽loved it! I’m probably passing on Pattern but I’m here for SheRea, so... ...I mean, never should anything touch my hair that feels like glue! That disturbed me🥴
You should try applying products to soaking wet hair (warm water, not cold), to ensure that the cuticle is open. The products will adhere to your hair much better, you’ll lock in much more hydration and achieve a lot more definition xx
I use to think that too. I use the intensive I am some type of 3 hair and my some is definitely a 4 type hair. It’s works perfect for both of us. We use a little, I saw her being heavy handed with the conditioner. Sometimes you really should go by the instructions and the amount they tell you to use. When I stopped being so heaven handed with THIS particular conditioner it works so well. TTHHHEEENNN add water as you need it
Just got mines. I don’t like the smell. It smells like an old lady fragrance. I hope 🤞🏽 these products work minus the smell. I do love the pattern brush and clip tho.

@@SheReaDelSol You did a short pause after the last "my hair looks good" and thought to myself uh oh a "but" or a "however" is on the way. Plus I've been natural and watching you too long not to see it coming!😂😉😜
My hair does this when I don’t spray my hair with water while applying any product. Probably why you was skiing 😂. I know you was under your steamer but it’s not getting all in your hair. You probably should’ve put the conditioner in your hair while you was in the shower hair tends to dry bathroom to your room. But I shall see how it works when mine comes. I saw a lot of tutorials and at least 3 not including you said it wasn’t helping with tangled hair. But when they pulled out the water bottle and sprayed their hair was soft. Most of the ones I saw really liked it even type 4 hair. Now if they don’t work I’m taking all of it back to the store. Everyone seems to agree it’s not the best smell. I did smell mine and if it works for me I’m gonna put some essential oils in there so it can smell like something else
Thanks for the tip but wet hair doesn’t work for me. It may feel better in the moment but my hair will be dry the next day. I’m not new to this 😩😩. Any product that requires soaking wet hair isn’t for me.
So I bought two of the leave-in when Ulta had them for 50%. I didn’t like it the first time I used it, but I used it this time on soaking wet hair under the Cheers Gelato and it worked really well, which surprised me. I’m on day three of this wash and go and it hasn’t dried out yet. I’m not a fan of the smell either, cause it does smell like grease, but it seems to be keeping me moisturized this time. I have the travel size of the heavy conditioner, but I don’t know....lol. I’m not sure yet if I want to try the gels. Thanks for reviewing the line!!!! ❤️
SheRea DelSol I think it’s great that you don’t have to style on soaking wet hair, honestly. It means less time in the shower. My hair tends to start to dry out as soon as the water is off, and then my styles don’t last. 🤷🏽♀️ And also you can sit down, so I’m jealous. 😩😩
😂 As far as the smell, you either love it or hate it. I love the shampoo, I didn’t find it stripping at all. The heavy conditioner is ok. I don’t like the leave in, it reminded me of a watery lotion. I loved the styling cream and curl gel together for a twist out...didn’t get any flaking. Your hair looks bomb!! Very pretty!
Thank you for doing this review. I debated buying her line since it first launched. I stopped at the pricing and ingredients. I don’t mind paying $20 for a jar of Camille Rose because I know I’m going to get moisture for days, and the ingredients are good. you don't need sulfates to wash out silicones. You just need 2 good lathers with a sulfate-free shampoo that contains combination of multiple moderate to mild detergents like c16 olefin sulfonate and Cocamidopropyl bentaine.
@@SheReaDelSol think of it like this: Shampoos and conditioners of the same line are formulated to work best together, right? Well that would be counter productive if the shampoo wasn't able to wash out the residue of it's sister conditioner. If you're still doubtful though, look up the different types of detergents 🙂
@@SheReaDelSol ah okay that makes sense. For some reason from the beginning of the video I thought you didn't use silicones so I was then confused to see you using a product with silicone in it so I thought I might have missed something

This is how I apply products. I’ve applied products just as thick and had great results, for example, my shea moisture deep conditioners. The products are the problem
i am type 3 and did not like this shampoo! i got the heavy conditioner instead. Now, her new stuff i really enjoy. the clarifying shampoo is better! the new stylers have no silicone. I really really like the curl gel, the hold is a soft medium but it has moisture so i can easily layer another gel for extra hold and i'm good! Strong hold gave me a nice lasting wash and go in the heat as well! I will be buying the refresher, edge brush and another gel and the styling cream!
With the conditioner you should definitely have your hair fully wet. Like saturated. I love these products. Definitely worth the $$. I myself got the jumbette sizes. The edge control tho is a no for me
Have you tried taraji’s hair care line?? I actually prefer her products over pattern beauty. The naturals on TH-cam didn’t even give TPH hair a chance and idk why.
I didn't expect so many comments about a product being that much money. And I'm sitting here buying Melanin products for about the same price, faithfully. The leave-in is supposed to be applied to soaking wet hair. Thanks for pointing out that there's silicone in the stylers but the shampoo is sulfate-free.
Tried it. I like the intensive conditioner,. And curling gel. I think adding that gel after the leave in is what flaked my hair out. So I washed it and then just applied the curling gel,. The applied my mielle and long aid curl activator gel...no flakes. Lol. I also didn't like the frizz from using the products. I may just buy the intensive conditioner again but nothing else. Sorry Tracee it didn't work
U have to use Pattern on soaking wet hair. Your hair was damp but not soaking wet. That’s the only way the conditioners work. They have to have water. My hair loves all of Pattern products especially the moisture milk and heavy gel. But again they must be used on wet hair.
Aspen 🤣🤣!! I love that!! Denise is pretty funny!! Faye was the first review I saw on these products!! We have different hair types!! I’m here for the entertainment and it’s interesting to hear and see how these products work on other hair types!!
How come you don't spray your hair with water when you apply the conditioners and styling products? It needs to be soaking wet. And you're supposed to use the moisture spray before the styling products. I'm gonna need a proper redo from you Sis. Thank you in advance.
Because that’s not how I apply product or style my hair. Spraying water makes my hair dry the next day. Trust me, i’ve been doing my hair a longgggg time.

Sorry Tracee it didn't work
Yea... issa no from me
Hi SheRea,
Which hair steamer do you use?

@@SheReaDelSol Thank you so much SheRea! ❤️
@@KAM-rl6tz No worries ❤️
Talk about highly anticipated!! You know I already thumbs up before even watching. Can’t wait for her review😍😍
Thank you sis!
U have to use Pattern on soaking wet hair. Your hair was damp but not soaking wet. That’s the only way the conditioners work. They have to have water. My hair loves all of Pattern products especially the moisture milk and heavy gel. But again they must be used on wet hair.
You so tell it like it is! 😂 Love it!! 💜❤️Thanks for your honesty. So many lie for the likes and a bag.
thanks for watching hon
Been natural to long to fall for it!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just saying lol
Lmfaoooooooo this video has me crying laughing
LOL!
Aspen 🤣🤣!! I love that!! Denise is pretty funny!! Faye was the first review I saw on these products!! We have different hair types!! I’m here for the entertainment and it’s interesting to hear and see how these products work on other hair types!!
thanks for watching hon
How come you don't spray your hair with water when you apply the conditioners and styling products? It needs to be soaking wet. And you're supposed to use the moisture spray before the styling products. I'm gonna need a proper redo from you Sis. Thank you in advance.
Because that’s not how I apply product or style my hair. Spraying water makes my hair dry the next day. Trust me, i’ve been doing my hair a longgggg time.
The smell reminds me of somebodies grandmas house or a nursing home, it stinks!!! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
it doessss
