I'm changing my life at 38, I used to be miserable as well. I agree with this.

At 15 i started using drugs everyday. 15 years later i finally went to rehab. Clean and sober now for 6 months, finally life feels like it is somewhat beginning. Now at 32, trying to figure out everything is very demoralizing. It's a hard difficult road ahead.

I’m 25 and totally miserable. I’m hoping if I reflect now on what is really important to me and what I most value, that I might be able to circumvent some of this existential pain in my later years. It’s so hard to feel this directionless and uninspired already, but I hope that if I am able to connect to myself and to the wise advice of people such as yourself, that there might be a life more fulfilling than I could have ever imagined on the other side of this intense suffering.
Thank you for this video, and for reminding us all that we are much more malleable than we tend to tell ourselves. Letting go of limiting beliefs is crucial if we really want to open ourselves up to all that life can offer, I think.

Becoming physically fit was what had resonated with me. Unfortunately, my mid 30s through mid 40s was when I had let unhealthy lifestyle choices permit to regain weight after successfully losing, maintaining weight loss in my early 30s. It was late 2020, after reaching 45 that I had decided to lose weight again. Lately, I have lost about 60 pounds & want to lose additional weight to be at a healthier weight. Changing eating, physical activity, stress management, etc. have helped me out lately. Career, educational pursuits remain a gradual work in progress. One day at a time for many tasks works well for me.

Another great video. Thank you, sir! I agree that taking risks is a good move to improve your life. I have taken a couple of big risks in the last 5 years that I was scared to do. But, looking back now, I realize I could not even predict at 28 how much better I would feel at 33. The benefits I expected were far surpassed by the actual positive impact on my life. The pandemic has been a setback in some ways, and I am now trying to break free of the risk aversion the pandemic let in. I have been starting to expand my social network and look for new hobbies to connect with others around, so your encouragement to keep at it is a message of optimism today. Have a great day and keep putting a positive message out there for the world.

I've been listening through a few of your videos. You're exactly the voice I needed to hear right now. I think you're a tremendous help to men wading the uncertain waters of their 30s - like you mention, it's a demographic that doesn't get much positive attention or reinforcement.
Please keep making these videos, and thank you so much.

The root cause of these problems are economic. Many people in their 30s in the present including myself were scarred by recession and economic decline and then the pandemic hit this demographic harder as people were not financially and psychologically stable as a result of not having fully had a healthy young adulthood. The newer younger generation who are just entering the workforce are the most fortunate into getting into jobs and building a stable foundation for adulthood to their 30s as the post-pandemic had a job boom. I am 30 and I am just reaching financial stability and getting a job that I could have had many years ago but was possible due to the post-pandemic economy.

I am 39 and am planning on making some big changes. In my 20s , my life was like an adventure as I lived in 2 new countries and dropped 2 albums. In my 30s, I had to start building my career and paying off student loans and helping family. However other things haven't happened like finding a partner. I want a new wild adventure again

Good question! I’m still navigating my 40s so don’t want to pretend that I know what I’m doing here 😊 having said that, I am surprised how much of my life changes in my 30s have helped me grow and evolve in my 40s. How about you?

Many people in their 30s in the present including myself were scarred by recession and economic decline and then the pandemic hit this demographic harder. I am just reaching financial stability and getting a job that I could have had many years ago but was possible due to the post-pandemic economy. Many younger people with no experience got into this job in my company and even moving faster as well because they did not have any gaps like people in our demographic did. I was in a similar situation from 25-31 years old. But like I said our demographic came into the job market at bad times and not many reached a healthy financial adulthood or achieved a competitive work experience so as to be at a mid-career level. We are basically still at entry-level competing with the younger adults who experienced no economic hardships and seemed to follow a normal trajectory in career building.
