Just got my official Duolingo test result yesterday and I managed to score overall 130 with just a day of preparation. Tips: Don't portray your mind thinking this as a hard test. Just practise 5 to 6 practise test and see in what range you are getting the score. Work on your mistakes. You all can do it guys. Go for it !!!!

Hey Teacher Luke, just got my results today and I got 150!! So over the moon right now! Been practicing daily for a month in your practice platform and regularly watching your videos. I usually average on 135-145 on the practice tests 2 days before the exam so I knew I can pass. Still, the actual exam especially the speaking portion for me was so nerve-wracking. Fortunately, the adrenaline and a month’s practice kicked in before my nerves. You’ve helped me a lot get this score. Now, I can enroll to get a doctorate degree at a university in the US. I scored 155 with just one day of prep. All I did was watch this video, took the mock test and immediately took the test. I felt it was important for me to take the test immediately after the mock exam since it helped me keep my flow. Really grateful for this video. Helped me a lot.
I got 135 in my first test after 4 days of preparation. I made mistakes in writing and speaking because I did not structure my answers. I fixed it at the second try with one day of preparation and got 145. It is enough for my graduate school. Thank you Teacher Luke to put these valuable resources in TH-cam.

Teacher Luke, I came across your videos a day before my exam and I just binge-watched this particular video. I got a 150 overall score! 145 Production 150 literacy 150 comprehension 145 conversation I must say that I took the practice test about 5 times (with a lot of distractions btw) and I kept getting 115-140 so I encourage everyone to take the jump!

Hi! This is my text for the speaking task 2:35:19 My favorite hobby is taking photos of my friends, strangers, and landscapes. I like to catch the epic emotions. Moving to the next question, I’ve been shooting photos since my parents bought their first camera in the early 00s. It was a small camera with a flash card. As for question three, I prefer to do it alone, because I am too focused on my feelings, proсess, and myself. But sometimes when I need some help with lighters and some other stuff, I invite my friend or my sister. And for the last question, this hobby is important for me, because it is the opportunity to show others my vision of the world, and creativity. Moreover, it is one of the ways to earn money.

@@emmanuelabakah5194 the tips I followed was from teacher Lukes videos, and I also practiced my speaking by looking up random speaking topics and trying to elaborate on them. Another thing is, I have been speaking English since I was in nursery, The medium of teaching in my country is in English and so it wasn't so difficult to adapt quickly to the tips.However,you'll do great , just work on your weakness and do the test. My weakness was confident speaking, I can't form words confidently, I stuttered but I worked on it before the test.

@@soorajs5735 Almost always 105-140. It is worth mentioning that I got the same score range even though in some practice tests I entirely skipped the speaking questions (by remaining silent until the end of required time). So, I guess practice test scores are not 100% reliable.
i Got 120 in just 5 days , i appeared in ielts as well or scored only 6.0 which was not enough or i had not much to attempt again an ielts. Thankyou so much for such a quality content anyone who scored between 110-145 in a practice test can easily score 120 in real test which is good and equivalent to ielts band 7.0
@@playboicartihey it's only effect your production score overall you can easily score 110 or above which is good. Try to talk more or just be confident or don't be in hurry .. Talk in medium speed so you can easily think about the next sentense .. All the best dude

In my practice constantly i getting 95-135 and on time i got 100-140 i did more than a 15 times but my score didnot get better😪😪😪 which episode did you watch to improve your score???
@@arathisaran If you are getting 100-140, believe me you can score 130 and more on the real test. There is a dedicated playlist explaining each section along with 2 mock tests. I followed them for clarity on how to answer that specific section. please take your time and practice until you're confident enough and then give the test. All the best 👍

@@emmanuelabakah5194 the tips I followed was from teacher Lukes videos, and I also practiced my speaking by looking up random speaking topics and trying to elaborate on them.
Another thing is, I have been speaking English since I was in nursery, The medium of teaching in my country is in English and so it wasn't so difficult to adapt quickly to the tips.However,you'll do great , just work on your weakness and do the test. My weakness was confident speaking, I can't form words confidently, I stuttered but I worked on it before the test.
Hi Teacher Luke. Last night, I tried to take a practice test on DET website, and my score is 100 meanwhile my target score is 145. Today marks my first day learning from your TH-cam Channel for DET preparation. I am planning to take the test within a month. Wish me luck and I'll be back to this comment after I got the result!

It is worth mentioning that I got the same score range even though in some practice tests I entirely skipped the speaking questions (by remaining silent until the end of required time).
So, I guess practice test scores are not 100% reliable.
i Got 120 in just 5 days , i appeared in ielts as well or scored only 6.0 which was not enough or i had not much to attempt again an ielts. Thankyou so much for such a quality content anyone who scored between 110-145 in a practice test can easily score 120 in real test which is good and equivalent to ielts band 7.0

@@playboicartihey it's only effect your production score overall you can easily score 110 or above which is good. Try to talk more or just be confident or don't be in hurry .. Talk in medium speed so you can easily think about the next sentense .. All the best dude

Hi Teacher Luke, Your videos helped me scoring 135. I prepared for the exam for a week by watching your TH-cam videos on each subsection. I used to score 100-140 on my practice tests. After watching your videos on each individual section, I confidently took the test and scored 135. Thanks for your amazing videos, they were very helpful.
In my practice constantly i getting 95-135 and on time i got 100-140 i did more than a 15 times but my score didnot get better😪😪😪 which episode did you watch to improve your score???
@@arathisaran If you are getting 100-140, believe me you can score 130 and more on the real test. There is a dedicated playlist explaining each section along with 2 mock tests. I followed them for clarity on how to answer that specific section. please take your time and practice until you're confident enough and then give the test. All the best 👍

Greetings , Dear Teacher luke I'm very thankful to you . By only 1 day of practice ,due to urgent requirement of English proficiency test i got 105 scores. I just practice 3 test on duolingo website and watched your videos. Although there was 3 years gap in my education but i succeeded. Embassy demand was 90 but i got 105 . Again thank you. Take the practice tests regularly. It really helped me score better marks. Try getting 115-145, then you can take the test.
