The police was called and she was convicted of the theft. When people do that, they get their property back like the ATM card. Obviously she got it back.
Brooke: "how the hell is calling the cops on me count as a present" Me: "well Brooke when you go to jail you'll never have to worry about paying rent again since in jail you get a free place to stay and 3 meals a day isn't that just wonderful"
There is a lot of difference between helping and caving in for other's greed. Lending and borrowing money within the family, friends, and relatives circles, always ends up creating a mess and chaos within your loved ones. Avoid any kind of financial matters with family, friends, or relatives for a peaceful life. If you give them once, then you are opening 100 other doors for them take advantage of you. If you give them once and refuse to help them the second time, it will backfire you between you and your family, friends, and relatives. When someone asks for money, just say NO with a smile and avoid further discussion.
@@mrsdinosaur1009 fortunately she was feisty enough to stand up to DIL. As they were newlyweds, MIL might still be working but she earned her savings by working so definitely not for adult offspring or spouses. Glad her son saw the truth and didn't jump on the DIL over-entitled bandwagon.
@@suzannelaing2968 This story actually reminded me of something that happened a few years ago. Although it involved an spoilt over entitled daughter and her Mum. Daughter only needed to click her fingers and Mum would give her the money she asked for with no questions. Daughter would drop her children off at her Mum's place, ask for money and then disappear for a few days. This continued on for many years leaving Mum having to struggle every week to make ends meet and the daughter not caring one bit just as long as Mum gave her money. Eventually Mum, met a man who made her see what she was doing was wrong and she did manage to stand up to her daughter and say "No". This didn't go down well with the daughter and she did everything she could to split her Mum and her boyfriend up. She finally succeeded and so daughter had her money box back. I don't know what happened after that but I know that a few weeks after the boyfriend left, Mum rang him and begged him to come back but it was too late, the damage was already done. I can only hope that Mum still says "No" to the daughter's demands.
@mrsdinosaur1009 Sadly I doubt it. Her trump card would be If you don't give me money you'll never see your grandkids again. I'll only let you see them if you give money She'll get her ATM back. Blackmail by way of using the kids or if she's desperate enough threats of violence towards mom or her grandkids
Oh my god, that is ridiculous! Telling adults what they can and can't say on their own videos is equally ridiculous. God damn you're so sensitive. Just stop watching videos on TH-cam and move to a religious community if you can handle something so stupid
No no no no dont let them move in! No no no. Its a trap.
These stories alwayys leave something out---like how the credit card was found and returned to its owner.

What an evil and greedy DIL.
14:16 lol you invented Communism. have fun. XD
Does DIL not realise that MIL probably lives in a fixed income, IE pension or savings.
Yes I would say DIL probably does, but doesn't care. I would say what DIL is doing to MIL is a form of elder abuse too.
